LOL, they were "pleased". Dumb aggy doesn't realize that negotiating 101 is to keep all bidders at the table for as long as possible if you are trying to maximize the price paid. They should have Nico Harrison come down and GM their football program.
The thing is, trading away Michah and trading FOR Pickens doesn't make sense in a tanking strategy. Then they doubled down on stupid by trading away a good amount of draft capital for Quinnen Williams. They don't have any real strategy, it's week to week shooting from the hip.
Update, 28 posts per reception (rounding up). C'mon gang we can do it. 31 more posts and we will have 29 posts per each of the 29 receptions Parker had as a Longhorn.
Still is and probably always will be greatest sporting event I attended in my life. The buildup, the teams both being perfect coming in, the setting in the Rose Bowl, the way the game played out and the personal investment in who the winner was all was just perfect.
Or you know. Americans could pull themselves up by their bootstraps and stop uhhh doing all the drugs at least or be less puritanical about them and severely cripple the black market for them It’s actually the perfect encapsulation of our blame everybody else society when we create the demand that gives a lot of these killers the power they have.
Most (not all) things that we do that are good for US interests have broad support, not only worldwide but at home and we work a little bit at seeing them through. I get that Maduro was an asshole leader who was terrible for his people but support for this both global and especially locally when there seem to be A LOT of other things more pressing to your average American tells me we probably fuck up the end game hard on this one when this administration inevitably gets bored with it in about a week or so and moves on to other stuff in their whack a mole approach to governing.
It's not so much the lack of cold right now that portends a shitty summer. It's the lack of moisture. The ground being dry as hell isn't a good moderator when the winds sweeping up from the SW into the state really fired up in May/June.
