  1. this is a terrible idea...everyone's first brisket is straight shit. do yourself a favor and order a couple of briskets from franklin, la bbq, interstellar, any of of those places
  2. i initially only had 2 because my girls were little, but then when i decided to increase to 4 i lucked out. 4 on the aisle came open (heard from the people around me that they likely may have died as they were older)... section 9 under the overhang. never giving these seats up
  3. shiiit i got in during the last couple of years of Strong... it's almost as good as buying a house with a 3% rate
  4. i have the dolphin and it's in the pool full time unless we're swimming. 3+ years no issues
  5. north garden is awesome, but you will wait for a bit unless you get there super early
  6. you don't have to pay for beach usage, but if you want chairs yes you will need to pay... usually whatever you pay goes towards your food/drink. you don't need a golf cart to walk from the ferry to playa norte... it's a few blocks. restaurants, anything in the main street Hidalgo
  7. my pool in round rock is currently being resurfaced by Kingz (they're based out of houston but have a central texas entity)... super happy so far... they started this past monday and everything is ready to go, with plaster scheduled for tomorrow but postponed due to the freeze coming in next few days. got about 10 quotes total, and although they weren't the cheapest (nor most expensive) i felt it was best bang for the buck
  8. Freedmen's was awesome. Love that place. The brisket and other meats was awesome, and that bread was amazing
  9. next time show up with extra steaks and tell them those are for you since they never grill enough of them. that'll teach them
  10. Laughable...VY, Colt, Street above him. Who else would you rank above him?
  11. the guy has brought texas back, won the big 12, beat bama on the road, put 2 hurtings on OU, took us to our first ever CFP... he's not VY, but this is fucking stupid
  12. dude wtf... they have these things called uber and lyft nowadays.
  13. he's been going to texas games since he was a child
  14. yup, a friend (texas ex), his two kids ended up at arkansas. the son is die hard longhorn to this day and he's a junior at arkansas. i asked him if he's wearing Texas or Arkansas gear to the game and he said Texas
  15. rex voting blue? what in the ever loving fuck did i just read
  16. yup, the 3 sites in RR east of 35 have consistently been red, but the one off old settlers has a ton of booths so it goes faster
  17. what's going on? the randalls off gatti's is actually closer to me but heard the old settlers location has a lot more booths and moves faster
  18. voted in williamson county at the old settlers location. long line but was in and out in 30 mins. wife, daughter, and me makes 3 for the good guys. other daughter and her wife voting in travis today no pics
  19. Question for you all... my daughter is registered to vote in Hays county, but suspended. She now lives in Travis County. I'm reading on the Texas.gov site that she can complete a Limited Ballot application at an early voting place in Travis County... is this correct? "or (if the voter has moved to a new county) completes a Limited Ballot application during Early Voting at the main early voting polling place."
  20. two positives that i can think of from the Strong era. 1. D'Onta Foreman 2. The fan base was so apathetic that I was able to snag some bad ass aisle seats in section 9 under the overhang that I will keep until the day I die. it's impossible to get seats there anymore
  21. we'll be in florence and rome from 7/6-7/15, looking for some ideas for day trips. where is this place and can we do a day trip from florence or rome?
  22. then get a robot. it's so much better
  23. that sounds like an amazing deal. if you're in the austin area send me the contact info for the company you used.
  24. i've been on semaglutide for almost a year and have lost 25 pounds. initially, my biggest issue was constipation. i am very regular and always had a BM in the morning. at first i would go 2-3 days wihtout a bowel movement which sucked. i've since gone back to being regular. i pay $180 for a refill that lasts about 10 weeks my a1c numbers went from 5.7 to 5.2 within 3 months, and sugar levels from 126 to 73. my blood pressure is now 120/80. for me it's been great, but i don't plan on being on it for much longer. i'd like to be able to eat more than a handful of food once in a while. it sucks smoking a bad ass brisket only to be able to eat one small slice
