  1. $649 for a new driver vs $600 for a new putter - which will improve your game more? W/o a doubt in my mind, the answer is the putter. Those LAB putters in particular, do a LOT more for higher handicap shitty putters by stabilizing the face and stroke and removing the massive variability high handicappers have - again, assuming the putter matches the stroke. A new driver isn't going to do that - you're way better off spending $600 on a lesson. IMO, putters have less of an impact the better you get - low handicap players have a low variability stroke already, generally speaking, so it ends up being more about the weight, feel, etc... And for the record, I don't own an LAB putter - circa 2010 Scotty here that I love. However, I have seen the difference those LABs make with many 8-15 index players.
  2. The politics are there, we are all just on the same side of the politics so no one minds it.
  3. Drivers go for north of $600 to start now (Titleist GTs are $649 to start). Spending $600 on a putter that you will use more, last longer, and shave more strokes off your game (assuming it's fit for your putting stroke) isn't that out of whack these days.
  4. It's war. It's always going to be political. Wake the fuck up.
  5. Bibi has been saying this, more or less, for the past decade and a half and yet, Iran has never completed the puzzle. Yes, we need Iran back at the table to talk about denuclearization but using the argument that "they're almost there, we think, but it's ambiguous" to bomb Tehran is disingenuous at best.
  6. You cannot talk about a conflict involving Israel, Iran, and the US and not talk about the leaders of each. That means opinions too. If you want just facts, I don't think that exists anymore, certainly not on a damn message board.
  7. Dog allergy got her. Karma, bitch.
  8. I spent a month in Korea and only a day in Seoul. I'm sure Seoul has more I missed (like the DMZ) but the rest of Korea I'm not itching to go back to. Japan, on the other hand, I've been planning a return trip there since the moment I left.
  9. Spend more time in Japan vs Korea. I'd just spend the entire time in Japan, to be honest. I think it's a far better vacation. But if you're single and ready to mingle, Korean women do love Americans.
  10. Wait, the groundhog thing wasn't a joke? I just thought everyone was trying to be clever.
  11. Team Scott here. Let's go Aussie!!!!
  12. Par is a construct to help the golf viewer keep better track of who is winning. That's all. How many strokes does it take you to complete 72 holes? That's all that matters.
  13. Thoughts about Max in Spain?
  14. That idea would never take off.
  15. His cunty ass reply to George calling for a stiffer penalty: "I'll bring a tissue next time". Fuck off, prick. This isn't demolition derby. He didn't even make an attempt to defend himself, which is pretty telling of his intent. I respect his race craft but I also wonder if others drove with the same reckless abandon he does, how would F1 look? I feel like a lot of his ability comes down to his willingness to push the envelope and not give a fuck about consequences.
  16. I do. In China, Russia, and North fuckin' Korea. The company we keep...
  17. Username checks out. Also, 1 or 2x per week is a shit ton of golf. Though I'm guessing by the typos and run-ons in your post, you may not have been sober when you posted and meant to say per month, not per week.
  18. You pop in, on a message board meant for discussion, make a bold statement, and then disappear. Not particularly sincere. dis·in·gen·u·ous /ˌdisənˈjenyəwəs/ adjective not candid or sincere, typically by pretending that one knows less about something than one really does. "he was being somewhat disingenuous as well as cynical"
  19. How about you actually defend one of your posts rather than hit and running like you always do? Talk about disingenuous.
  20. I don't trust Alabama of all places to elect a sane human being as senator to replace Tuberville but there is no way they could possibly do worse. So I guess yay?
  21. Against a much weaker field. It's hard to compare the two. We should stop and just enjoy the show.
  22. Combo of a great move from Max and terrible braking from Oscar. Both had to happen for that swap to occur. Even George was baffled by Oscar. Entertaining race, I enjoyed it.
  23. Who did you use?
  24. He has been spraying it all over the park by his driver standards so something is off. Can shafts be non conforming (obviously yes, just not something you hear about often)? For these guys, I would bet shaft is far more important than the head. And for Rory, I would think you could stick whatever head at the top of his go to shaft and you'd never know the difference so his driver struggles are that much more of a mystery. Side note... The commenters talking about Scheffler not playing well... He's within 5 going into the weekend you slap dicks.
  25. The golf can't be beat. We just joined a club in Scotland for the discounts on other courses for an upcoming trip - annual dues are only $350 and the course is an old Tom Morris design. Just bonkers how affordable golf is there.
