Just finished off a week long trip to Scotland - played 6 courses in 4 days, walked all of them. Incredible trip, incredible courses. Golf is so accessible there, it's bonkers. And the courses make anything in the US look like a manufactured joke. It's almost upsetting the difference between the US and Scotland when it comes to golf.
Day 1: Cabot Highlands
Day 2: Tain + Fortrose and Rosemarkie
Day 3: Brora + Royal Dornoch Championship Course
Day 4: Cruden Bay (9 hole course + Championship Course)
We joined Tain as full members for a whopping 350 GBP for the year (which is ridiculous unto itself and isn't unique to Tain, all these courses have stupid cheap annual membership dues). That got us free rounds at Tain (85 GBP normally), a 30 GBP round at Brora and F&R (100+ GBP normally), 25% off at Royal Dornoch (80 GBP savings), and 50% off at Cabot (160 GBP savings).
As the saying goes, pictures don't do it justice. Hard to capture the elevation changes but here you go!
