  1. Colonial is the best stop in the DFW area. By a HUGE margin, too. A lot of the top players will skip it but that's a great course that stresses a lot the aspects of golf most modern courses don't, like Augusta in that respect.
  2. DFW has a handful of great courses and Craig Ranch ain't it. Colonial is epic. DNat is world class. Vaquero is wonderful but no way the membership invites a PGA circus. Fields Ranch East is going to be a great host for the PGA Championship. DCC and Lakewood I've heard are great but I'm not wealthy enough to be allowed on premise. But Craig Ranch and Trinity Forest blow. And yet, that's where they decide to play. This would be a far better event if they'd just pick one of the other better options in the DFW area. You seem fun.
  3. They also share with PHL so any shortage is going to be magnified given the hub status of both.
  4. EWR is short on controllers plus they are repairing a runway. Don't think either of those are being fixed anytime soon.
  5. Republicans start acting like liberals? You were so close but go fuck yourself, you damn clown.
  6. So you want a company that has been under intense scrutiny for the last decade for taking too many shortcuts, being blamed for numerous groundings, fatalities, etc, to now go and speed up the production of the most advanced passenger jet in the world all while operating in this new found supply constrained world? I love this idea. Do it. Please.
  7. Not to pop your bubble but... Pretty sure that's always the case as US bound passengers go through US immigration and US customs in Canada and fly as a domestic passenger, essentially. So no duty free allowance.
  8. I believe him when he says many people will have their income tax eliminated - 30% of $0 of income = $0 income tax. #winning
  9. Modi hails from the biggest Islamiphobic, Pakistan hating state in India. No way this goes quietly.
  10. I see lower level west side seats available right now (sec 2 and sec 7). I have to wait until May 2 to pick though, crossing my fingers!
  11. You can also go to the PGA Superstore at the Arbor Walk or Golf Galaxy. They have good simulators there and indoor to boot. Just "demo" a club - they've never really cared and I think they're just happy to talk shop mostly. Agreed on this - GPS is real hit or miss when you're playing a hilly course like many in Austin.
  12. Max 100% wins this if he (or his team, not sure who is at fault here) would have given the place back. He was ripping that circuit to shreds - 2nd place on laps 2 thru 5 would have turned into 1st real fast and that looked to be a track where clear air made all the difference. He was forced to give up clear air and too much of a gap and that cost him.
  13. I'm going to give you props for posting this - it's a vulnerable thing to do, especially in this crowd. I'm also going to give you credit for, at least in the span of a 5 sentence post, appearing to be Christian as was intended from the jump, not the modern "use religion as an excuse for your behavior" Christian. I think (hope) you're bothered by what is being done in "the name of Christ" by our current ruling party and how that ties back with the Christianity you want to practice. If so, you more than any of us in this forum are the key to righting this ship. Most of us here have been on the left, will stay on the left, and won't shift any tides. We need people like you to enact change. Basically, we're all counting on you. Don't fuck it up.
  14. There will be a comeuppance - history says this shit always ends with a comeuppance. Slavery, Nazis, Stalin, the French about 20 different times... I'm afraid of how much shit will happen between now and then.
  15. That was fucking cool
  16. Mud makes a HUGE difference. Even for amateurs. But that's not the point - he was frustrated he got two mud balls that tend to happen on two holes and he was voicing his frustration. End of story. I get it's fashionable to rag on his antics but this is a nothing burger. Let's not forget Rory stormed off after blowing the US open and most hailed that as being honest and human. And for the record, I don't really give two shits about that either.
  17. So.... What did he say that was wrong? Mud balls suck. And it's taboo to criticize anything about Augusta as a golfer. Both correct. He's expressing frustration, which he has done in the public eye literally his entire career. None of this is shocking. It is who he is and has been his entire career, majors or not.
  18. Is she modeling men's clothing? Those are the most unflattering jeans since those giant baggy ones the skaters wore (Jenga or some shit?).
  19. As a bit of bandaid, try to address the ball with more weight on your front foot and keep it there on the backswing. This should help you get your weight in the right spot at impact and move the impact point up a bit so you're hitting ball first (no promises on where it goes next). Have you tried putting a ball behind your clubhead at address and trying to push that ball slowly as far back and straight down the line as you can during your takeaway? Classic training trick that helped me shallow out way back when. If you do that trick and still are coming down steeply, then you're likely mega casting at the top of your swing.
  20. Everyone just shooting from their hips and not doing their homework. Data is good (look at the SG charts and click around on the various SG sub cats): https://datagolf.com/player-profiles?dg_id=14636
  21. Just ordered some woodworking tools from Japan and they should be delivered today. No tariffs collected from me thus far. A few years back, I recall having to pay a tariff on some camera gear before they'd release the shipment for delivery so I'm hoping I escaped this time.
  22. I mean, no real danger with these guys. You or I, yeah, grandma is fucked.
  23. I think that's either 4 or 6 where it's an elevated tee shot par 3 and the patrons are sitting below the tee box. No real danger, even with a thinny shot.
  24. She was hit with a wave of shyness from all the cheering. My little one reacts the same. Don't think it's "odd", at least I hope not.
