  1. Abbott apparently wants better regulation, not a ban.
  2. Same. I enjoy a glass of wine a couple times a week, but on the weekends, I’ve switched to NowDays.
  3. Sure you can. Put it up with some stuff said by Zeus, Ra, and others and label it Mythology. Have fun with malicious compliance.
  4. She was great on Americas Worst Cooks.
  5. It is unfortunately very real.
  6. I’m working till at least 51 (4 more years). My kid is starting high school in the fall, so really no need to stop before then. At 51, we should be fine or the market doesnt exist anymore and we are trading ammo for food. [emoji2373]
  7. My current GP gave me a year to get my A1C and other blood work in better shape before as I told her I’m meds adverse. She worked with me and flat out said my exercise program was fine, but my diet was trash based on the spare tire around my belly. I was a fat cyclist. If your GP isn’t pushing a healthy lifestyle first and foremost, find a new GP.
  8. Depends on where the brown people are and who they are working for. Hotel in a red state - no way. Walking down the street in LA - dangerous illegal who needs to go. Duh.
  9. Piastri has the patience to be a champion. He didn’t fight for 3rd at the start of the race. He was patient and I think he could have gotten third if McLaren had told Lando to back off. McLaren cost themselves a podium (and points due to Lando being a moron) on Sunday.
  10. I should not have blamed their strategy today. I didn’t know his car was damaged when I originally posted. Apparently the groundhog put a hole in the floor. Solid little animal.
  11. Turns out he had a damaged car. [emoji2373]
  12. I’m sure Lewis is pissed too. He’s now behind Charles. Ferrari strategy is trash.
  13. We are targeting $7M. Wife will probably retire in a year or two. I’ll keep working for 6 more years. After that - I’ll retire until I’m bored and then work fun jobs to pass the time.
  14. Protect and Serve is a marketing line. SCOTUS told us so in a few different cases.
  15. I’m waiting for insurance companies mandate vaccines and if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not covered. At the same time, they don’t have to cover those vaccines anymore. Win win for them.
  16. This is exactly what would happen along with victim blaming. “The girls knew what they were doing / getting into.” “They were paid …” etc.
  17. 10 - 15 a day on the Medicare or “you have market place insurance, correct?” It’s gotten to where I’m missing phone calls I need to take.
  18. That’s real?? Holy shit.
  19. But - that’s how many you see in the gym. How many more are dying behind a desk and get almost zero exercise.
  20. General population - 5% of that age. Most people over 50 aren’t in the gym.
  21. Seems arbitrary. I can do all of those, but I’m not training for that anymore. Those number used to be bench your weight, squat 1.5, deadlift 2x. I used to have those, but god did it hurt. I finally realized I’m not trying to be a power lifter and looked for functional programming. I did that for a while and now switched to trying to become an A group cyclist - which is a whole different lifting style. In reality - your goals should determine what you’re doing in the gym.
  22. We are on the same path. I’m down from 239 to 208. I’m adjusting my diet again after my vacation. Kick start the next phase of weight loss.
  23. Exactly. Since I switched to tempo work, gloves, straps, weight belt - have all gone away. My joints all feel better and I’m functionally moving better than I have in a very long time. I’m down from 239 (Jan of this year) to 208 (today). I’m 47 and will never try to squat 2x my body weight again. I have no need to.
  24. Some how that was Hamiltons fault for not handing the corner to the great Max on a silver platter. [emoji849]
  25. Van Aert average 450w over around 13 minutes pulling Yates. Hit a max of 650w. That is insane.
