  1. Any of y'all recall an instance of a recruit de-committing/opening his recruitment back up...then recommitting/signing with the same school he de-committed from?
  2. Went to my first game in a couple years a few weeks ago and was surprised all the old bars B.U.S and Home Plate were leveled. We ended up at the Westin bar after the game for a couple more beers. Biggio's is a couple blocks down too in addition to Scraps suggestions on the East Side.

    Tinnitus

Yeah, I'm blaming hundreds of concerts in my 20's-40's Or genetics. I was adopted so have very little in terms of biological medical history. They didn't think that through in the 70's.

    Tinnitus

I'm with Deadshank Tinnitus in both ears, don't really notice it anymore Significant hearing loss in both ears. Wear hearing aids. I'm 46 now and had normal hearing up until about 2008 or so when I noticed it was gradually getting worse. It sucks and is super frustrating at times, but it's manageable.
  5. why the fuck would you expect your opponent and his caddy to help you look for your shitty shot in the weeds?
  6. We live about a minute from Pit Room, so it's our go-to by default...and very solid in my book. Never had a bad meal. We finally got around to branching out and made our way to Blood Bros. It was damn good. Brisket and ribs were fantastic. Both were melt-in-your-mouth good. Wife got the Togarashi half chicken...good flavor/spice. Potato salad was ok. Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese was great. Jalapeńo creamed corn was good too. We got there just before noon and there was a bit of a line (but still inside for those that have been there). They do a lot of daily specials and they started calling out stuff before 1 that was already sold out. I wasn't paying attention, but I assume it was some of the specials that were gone (beef Rib, brisket cheeseburger) I'll be back to try some of their specialty offerings for sure. Thai sticky ribs, maybe that brisket cheeseburger, banh mi etc..
  7. Wife and I are a few episodes in. Digging it so far. Who the F thinks of this shit, lol? the kid who plays Gus is a good little actor.
  8. Just revisited a part of my collection that hadn't been touched in forever. 1986 Topps football cards. Looking online, some cards of note: Jerry Rice Steve Young x 3 Bruce Smith Walter Payton Is there somewhere local (Houston) that can grade these or at least tell me if they're worth a shit? I messaged Houston Sports Connection and they don't grade cards..
  9. Started this season last night and burned through 3-4 episodes. Sucks Arkin wasn't back. He was the best character on the show. Still hilarious though. Douglas is great. Kathleen Turner, while not as hot to begin with, went the way of Kelly McGillis
  10. I.m not going to sit here and say anything is the "greatest", but one of my favorite artists...Jack White, rips a ton of covers. Death Letter- Son House Stop Breakin Down- Robert Johnson Jolene- Dolly Parton Are Friends Electric- Gary Numan I just Don't know what to do with Myself- Burt Bacharach Can't find a live version, but here's audio
  11. That should be a strike, right?
  12. One in DC yesterday too. 2 door Maserati shouldn't be too hard to find. WTF is wrong with people? https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/crime/maserati-road-rage-shooting-caught-on-camera/65-bb41713d-73d3-4760-80f0-2db031760487
  13. Oh for sure. I had originally included them in my post but deleted it. Having 3-4 guys in the lineup that can't hit isn't ideal.
  14. I'm not going to go all "the sky is falling" yet. You have to give them a little credit. Kershaw was vintage Kershaw last night. Dodgers are one of, if not, the hottest team in baseball (8 straight, and 12 out of 13) NOW, that being said. This bullpen is utter garbage. I mean, I guess Framber and Odrizzi coming back could help? Figger it ooot, Dusty. Ya, fuggin bum.
  15. A truly aggressive dog will fuck some shit up. a Pit is a "medium sized dog" that I wouldn't want to tangle with. I do think a dude would have the upper hand in the right circumstance(some sort of chokehold), but you're going to get real fucked up in the process
  16. ** Just a general bitching post** I hate the shift. Actually, scratch that. I don't mind the shift...I hate the fact that major league hitters can't bunt or go the other way any more. I know "chicks dig the long ball", but if you're playing the shift and the 3rd baseman is at short...I'm bunting or slapping every time up. .236 mlb average is the lowest in the history of the game. That's awful. *rant off* go Stros.
  17. Pretty cool. I wish I were fatter. Oh and I hope not one person here buys those ridiculous practice jerseys with the black trim. What an abomination.
  18. Holy Shit. I love this place. Someone is getting this for their birthday!
  19. This happens a couple times a month or so. Leaving the house, going to dinner or a friends house or something. Waits until we're down the street or around the corner and asks "Did the garage door close?" Now, to me..I know I closed it. it's part of the process of backing out of the driveway...but those words automatically make you second guess. Turn the fucking car around and do the drive by. SMH
  20. Add me to the list of confused at the beginning of the latest episode. I think there's been a case in each episode of either my wife or I saying "I don't understand what's really happening". lol
  21. Could be for sure. Bringing up Erin spooked him so bad, he left his beer. Actually that's probably more plausible given the community's propensity for drinking shitty regional PA beers.
  22. Told my wife the same thing. So many similarities. And Erin's killer is definitely a separate thing, I think that's obvious now. Deacon Mark and Richard the writer- Were at the top of my list a couple episodes in. I don't think either of them did it though. Dylan/Jess- They're fucking dirt balls and are involved in something. Murder? I don't know. John Ross- cheater..not a murderer Billy Ross- sure got the fuck out of dodge once it came to light that Erin lived with him for a couple months. Leaving DNA on the Rolling Rock wasn't a smooth move. Agree with whoever said that not getting mentioned until now seems far fetched Father Dan? Frank? Kenny, her dad?
