$77.50 WTI/$4.10 nat gas this morning.
Unrealistic, wishful thinking, but that's pretty close to my ideal price ranges ($80/$4.50) where I wish it was possible to set things on cruise control for a year or two.
Friday is the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. Longest day of the year and the official start of Astronomical Summer (6/20-9/22). Not complaining about this weekend forecast at all if it holds.
Japanese conglomerates gonna own a large chunk of East TX gas production.
Tokyo Gas/TGNR bought Rockcliff and a bunch of CVX assets.
Osaka Gas bought Sabine.
Now Mitsubishi going after Aethon.
I'll tip my cap where it's due. There were a few glorious hours yesterday afternoon where the sun was out, the high topped out around 89, and there was a nice dry breeze. After all the rain this week, my pool had cooled down from 90 to 86. It was as nice of an afternoon spent swimming as is possible in Houston in mid-June.
It was gross earlier before the rain though. Temp only hit 91 or so, but all that rain from earlier in the week started evaporating and "oppressively humid" is still not sufficient to describe it.
After '23, it's not likely you'll ever hear me say anything about too much rain, but I think we're good here in Houston for a few days. Wasn't expecting it to rain today, but it just started raining sideways in the middle of lunch and looks like another big cell is heading this way around 3.
Big ol' glob of storms forming from Rocksprings to Llano on the radar right now. Looks to slowly creep east and drop a bunch of rain over the lakes and Greater Austin area between 9 pm and 2 am.
