  1. Their last two hires were Oklahoma assistants, either in the past or at the time, so..... Come on down Demarco Murray!!
  2. Predicted lineups anyone? I'll take a guess. 4-2-3-1 Vicario Porro, VDV, Cuti (c), Spence Palhinha, Bentancur Johnson, Sarr, Kudus Solanke
  3. Most of the podcasts I listen to lean towards Romero and hope being captain leads him to wanting to sign long term. Maybe Davies as more of a club ambassador/Captain, but he's just not going to be on the field enough to have the armband. Now with Madders being hurt, the other potential name they talked about was Vicario, but way behind Romero. Romero is tied with... Bryan Gil (July 2021). Gil for Captain? 😅
  4. Kudus plays as a 10 for Ghana, so this move might be Savinho to RW, Kudus to 10 to cover for Madders and Kulu both being out. Also, the rumor mill continues
  5. Was just there on vacation two weeks ago. Beautiful city, can't wait to go back. Don't know about the airport though, we drove in with friends from Leipzig then took a bus to Vienna after a couple of days.
  6. Yesterday was the day of Son Heung-min. Spurs IG was all about Sonny. Idk if I've ever seen a send off like this. Warning: long post, lots of IG videos. In addition to the video above Final letter to Spurs fans: Final interview: To his teammates, from their ex-captain
  7. Georgia Tech doesn't run the triple option, hasn't for a few years now. Navy is still running a triple option, both classic and from the spread, which is why Navy QB is on the list.
  8. I got you Son Heung-min is Tottenham. Tottenham is Son Heung-min.
  9. Definitely. Not much farther than that for me coming from San Diego. Can't wait to catch a game once he gets settled.
  10. I don't think $350 and a pack of sunflower seeds is going to get him very far in his endeavors.
  11. Can't see much from the video, but seems to be noncontact Frank confirmed afterwards that it was the same knee that he just injured last year, but do not know the extent yet.
  12. Wasn't this around the time he made up a story that he saw someone at a golf course (CTJ?) and he and his cousin threatened to fight him?
  13. A true Tottenham legend. Sonny, we'll always have Bilbao! Per ESPN: Son Heung-min announces he is leaving Tottenham this summer
  14. Useless drivel and dead horses is what it costs to save $9.95/mo. If you want to pay for the premium boards, I'm sure they stay much more on topic!
  15. Didn't know you followed the sport! Know someone on the team? Texas has been pretty up and down throughout the years. Women's team was in the national final a few years ago, now not even qualified. Same with the men's team, sometimes top 5, sometimes top 15, sometimes not. Carleton College, though small, is a traditional powerhouse in the sport. Everytime I look, they seem to be at least in the national semis again.
  16. He was a senior this year, 2nd team all American. Not sure if he's staying for a grad year or not. His younger brother though is going to be a sophomore I think. And a cousin is on the team too (the cousin's dad was my club team coach in Houston about 10 years ago). Those 3 have been throwing a disc and spending time at tournaments since they could walk.
  17. As a former Texas player once said according to Surly legend: "They don't fit."
  18. I've got a friend who I played Ultimate with in Houston whose son is on the team and was getting some chatter for national player of the year. /csb
  19. She must have also attended Texas State.
  20. If I was a G5 program, this would exactly be my sell. Talented enough to play as a freshman but big schools have talented rosters? Come to our G5 program, play right away, get a little NIL, put some film up, and transfer to a P5 school if you get good offers. Do that enough, and sell yourself as a development program, win some conference championships, maybe a few bowl games, and maybe give yourself a chance at the G5 playoff spot. If they're not good enough for big P5 schools, then they stick around until they're seniors and grow enough to be good G5 players.
  21. I guess the MGW dream is dead. From the Athletic Morgan Gibbs-White signs new Nottingham Forest contract until 2028
