  1. Yeah, the Dutch were sitting back waiting for the ball to cross midfield and time after time took it away with ease and flew up the pitch on dangerous counters. They really made it look too easy.
  2. I think this stat is a bit misleading since both of these guys scramble, use their legs to buy time to make throws/plays. More dual threat type guys. One of my main issues with QE is that he doesn't make much of an attempt to extend plays by moving in the pocket or scrambling. He bails on plays to soon IMO. I know he is a traditional drop back passer but the better ones in that category still buy time by moving around in the pocket to try and make something happen. Seems like a little more fire/competitive spirit would be good to see from him. He's just a freshman so he might need more time and experience to feel comfortable trying those things, but honestly I think that is just who he is.
  3. The media/environmentalists have done a good job of turning the word “frac” into a real boogeyman. Like has been mentioned many times already the quakes are being caused by the huge volumes of water being disposed into deeper reservoirs that contain dormant fault systems. If the disposal wells are injecting into the deeper horizons they run the risk of being in area where these deeper horizons are located in a fault system area. Not all deep disposal is located in faulted areas. As a result of the increased pressure and possible "lubrication" from water disposal some of these dormant fault systems can be slightly reactivated resulting in the earthquakes being seen. This is a direct result of the exponential increase in production of oil, gas and water from horizontal drilling, mostly from shale reservoirs, that has taken place in the last 5+ years. And yes these wells have to be fraced to produce in commercial quantities. It’s really a large scale manufacturing process now. The water disposal issue is a very hot topic now and is being studied in depth. I think we will see less and less earthquakes moving forward. But they won’t completely stop. My bigger issue is the amount of water disposal taking place in medium depth horizons, which typically are not faulted. This is wreaking havoc in the oil field, causing the loss of legacy vertical wells. Major water flows while drilling new wells and holes in casing to existing wells as a result of the huge volumes of water being disposed in an amongst existing wells, have become a real problem from my experience. If you are on the wrong side of the horizontal game in the Permian (raises hand) as an operator, you're kind of fucked.
  4. Haven’t seen any back row sets in this match. SKT seems a little off tonight.
  5. Logan is more consistent on the back row. Skinner can get rattled on serve receive which seems to effect the rest of her game.
  6. I think Worthy's biggest problem is his seemingly inability to adjust to the ball in the air. He's a great athlete so usually that's not a problem for someone of his caliber. It's really kind of strange, it comes across as a lack of effort sometimes, although I'm not sure that's really the problem. He almost looks kind of awkward when he tries to adjust. Anyway, we need to keep recruiting some stud receivers.
  7. Pass defense is so bad…I would throw on every down if I was playing against this D.
  8. They had one holding call on their first drive and it was declined…not sure why because it might have taken them out of field goal range. No trust in the D, probably the right decision.
  9. They needed to quit serving Duckworth. She was nails on serve receive all night. Try someone else.
  10. Why does Elliot sub servers at match point???
  11. Off tonight. Lots of tips. Serve receive rears its ugly head. Logan seems a bit off.
  12. Maybe get Milton more involved as well. He made a helluva catch on the sidelines in that last 21 second drive.
  13. I don't see a big difference between Caffey and Bergmark. Caffey is certainly the better athlete but she is shorter than Bergmark and likely not quite as effective blocking. I think Bergmark is better on the slide and Caffey is better on the quicks and middle sets in general. The thing about Caffey is she can get really heat up and bring some energy when she starts hammering the quicks. However, against a good blocking team, they will start timing up the block on the quicks which can limit Caffey's offense a bit. They both have the strengths and weaknesses and I personally like the energy Caffey brings. It's nice to have those 2 as options.
  14. The quick to Caffey is lethal. Texas has rarely run quicks with the middles for several years now. Never understood it, but now that Caffey is playing they’ve started running them. Even some with O’Neal. There hard to stop when run correctly.
  15. Minny is playing fast. Block is consistently late when Minny is in system.
  16. Looked pretty strong overall. Still need some work on middle opposite of O’Neal.
  17. I guess, if you say so. But isn't he pretty similar to Ethan Burke in terms of size and weight. Watching the two play last year Vasek was every bit as good if not better than Burke, and looked a little bigger or at least not as skinny. If there's better options than I get it but if not, seems like a pretty good take.
  18. And that neatly sums up what's it all about to be an aggie. They are the undisputed national champions of, delusions of grandeur.
  19. Is that 3rd time in row Faltine has watched strike 3?
  20. I bought a new car in Dallas about a month ago. After I finished the deal I asked the finance guy how business was going since things have changed. He said they were selling a little more than half the amount of cars (pre-Covid) but were making more money. Charging full MSRP, no negotiating. Also, almost all of the dealerships are putting on a bunch of after market crap and making ridiculous profits off of that stuff. This is what really pisses me off. I mean, Nitrogen in the tires $300, door guards (cheap tape) probably cost them $10/car, $300; Lojack systems you can buy for $50 using an app on your phone, $900, window tinting, etc... It's ridiculous what they are getting away with right now. He thought they would never go back to the old sales model. Why would they, there making more money and the sales are much easier. Shitty for the consumer though.
  21. "I'm a little teapot short and stout here is my handle here is my spout..."
  22. He's plenty athletic. He's shown a few glimpses of it during the season. He's just not playing with any aggression on offense, or at least very rarely.
