Why is quality of care going to drop? Are we magically going to lose all the healthcare professionals we have? And I never said anyone solved anything. I said they figured it out. I'm confident we can as well. Never said it would be perfect, but it would be a damn sight better than what we have today. I want everyone to have healthcare coverage so they don't have to file bankruptcy because they get cancer, or get in a car wreck.
ICE is now saying the guy who shot was run over and is in the hospital. There's video of all this shit, and of him walking away from the vehicle after he shot her. He's perfectly fine (other than being a psycho).
Well, it's not like labs are calm. I'm guessing @Beau Vine 's foster is a chill dog if it's really part Bernese (and with the coloring and the way the tail curls up I would say it probably is). Berners are chill AF and super lovable.
They might phase it out down the road, but any viable plan has to start with employers paying a big chunk since that's how our current system is set up.
I would imagine any move to Medicare for All would have employers still paying for a lot of it (as well as increased income taxes on everyone), but we can figure that out. Everyone else on earth (peer countries, at least) has figured out how to do this. We can do it, too so people aren't stuck at a job just for insurance, and so people do not go broke because they got hurt or sick. So let's roll all those younger people into Medicare to get the per person costs down.
No. The state should make them do that (or put snow tires on the vehicles) but for some reason, they don't. It's on the driver to be prepared. Definitely ask for AWD and look at the tires before accepting the rental, at minimum. And figure out how to get some snow socks or chains if the weather looks dicey.
Bruce has had TPLO surgery in both back legs. The surgery and recovery is a bitch (especially the first couple of weeks), but he recovered well from both and once you do it, no worries of it happening again. The repaired knee is stronger than the original. There is a high likelihood of needing to do the other leg after the first one, so be ready for that.
We have roughly 100 employees and about half are on our company plan. We managed only a 2.6% increase this year, but we had to switch insurers from UHC to Aetna to do that. Would have been 11% if we stuck with UHC. We offer 4 different plans (2 traditional PPOs and 2 high deductible plans). Premiums for a family cost between $2,776-$3,412 per month (before we pay the employer portion) for deductibles from $1,500 for individuals to $7,000 family deductibles on the cheaper high deductible plan. We have good insurance but it's absurdly expensive. Healthcare costs are completely out of control in this country. There is no reason for healthcare to be tied to employment and there is no reason we can't figure out how to get everyone on Medicare (other than big, fat campaign contributions from the healthcare companies).
Acquaint yourself with the traction laws if you're coming to CO. Don't drive up I70 unprepared, please. It applies to everyone on the road. https://www.codot.gov/travel/winter-driving/tractionlaw
Not high ankle. He and Gordon both came back last game, but I'm thinking they are being extra careful with them to not re-injure. Bet on the Sixers with the Nuggets top 7 out of the lineup. It'll be the Bruce Brown and Peyton Watson show tonight. And that's not a show I particularly want to watch.
