You also have Centurian Club access with the Amex Platinum card.  The AA Executive will add Admirals Club access for you as well.  Looks like you'll have the club access covered.  I haven't benn following the bonus offers for a while so I can't help you there.

The Capital One venture card has a lower annual fee and a better lounge at DFW. Amex has better travel partners for points.

Going in February with my gf and parents. My Dad's a big meat and potatoes guy and this trip is primarily for his bday. Already have my eyes set on Four Charles. Are there any other meat centric places people recommend in Manhattan? Would rather not venture all the way out to Brooklyn for Peter Luger's.

You mean right across the bridge? Why not?

If you want to stay in Manhattan, Quality Meats and Sparks is good

I’m pretty sure Texas has clinched the CCG but it’s not being widely reported like it usually would be. Is that a function of tie breakers being difficult to understand or is there a scenario where Texas still misses out?

If we lose to Tech, and ou wins, they would go due to the tie-breaker. We have the head to head against anyone else.

Hey, I was an assistant track coach at Giddings High School (1967-69) and intramural sponsor at Webb Jr. High (1970-73).
Plus emcee’d the student talent show two years running at the latter.

I’ll take the job at half the contract Jimbo had, as long as aggy will supply a swagcopter for my daily commute from Round Rock.

Why can’t we just say that a bunch of assholes ruined it for everyone that’s “responsible” and now no one can have them?

We can. The Constitution's a living document and has been adapted many times to fit the parlance of the times. Come up with some parameters and let the people vote on it. Now, if you mean why doesn’t the government just change it on their own, then no. That’s directly the kind of thing that the Constitution was established to prevent.
