  1. Hey college kid, want 10 million bucks for 3 years? Then the PGA tour will wake up and let everyone play. Oh, you won’t have to face any suspension because you never were a member. Or…… you can go to Q school to go grind it on the Korn Ferry and hope to get to the real tour in the three years you could have played against some of the best in the world with 10 million plus whatever you make during the 3 years. I know what 21 year old me would have done. I mean I’d give the kid from Tech that. He’s already a star and he hasn’t teed it up as a pro.
  2. Golf media is basically unbearable right now. The old guard PGA Tour with all of their history and LIV led by the most unlikable people in the sport, while funded by a dictatorship. The LIV golf thing is stupid. Music playing, concerts, shotgun starts, and team competition. Their TV is unwatchable (other than they do show more shots). I would bet Greg Norman couldn't name all twelve team names. If you want to see 20 of the top 150 golfers in the world tee it up on what comes down to an exhibition, for all means, go for it. The other 28 are no better or worse than JJ Spaun. Meanwhile, the PGA Tour could have stopped this a long time ago. They got cocky and didn't think Norman would get the Saudi backing, so they basically blew it off. I'm friends with several of the JJ Spaun guys on tour. They aren't happy with how Monahan handled LIV from the beginning, how he reacted with the new elevated events, etc. Several had lower level LIV deals and said no and are regretting it. The PGA broadcast is getting stale or has been for about 20 years. So, I can see the appeal to the random viewer for LIV. LIV does well by keeping their parties to weeks where the Tour isn't playing elevated events for the most part. Problem is that you have to be able to and want to watch it. Brooks winning at Oak Hill is the best thing to happen to LIV. Still, most people don't have the CW, don't know that they have the CW, or have to download something on devises to be able to watch. They are only getting the hardcore fans. Someone compared LIV Golf to AEW Wrestling. Both are going up against rivals with a century of tradition. Both promised "Golf but LOUDER" and "sports based presentation". While not owned by the Saudi fund, AEW is owned by the son of the guy who owns the Jaguars. So, both have more money than the traditional rivals. AEW started out on TBS with 1.2 million people +/- a few. 4 years later, they get about 850k. It's just very hard to break through against tradition. Ask anyone in time square to name 10 professional golfers and about 95% would have less than 2 LIV players. Same with professional wrestling. I just want the Tour and LIV to make up. "Suspend" guys for a while, give players and their brand access to their shots and coverage to be able to promote themselves, Make certain PGA Tour events mandatory. If LIV makes developmental tour/have relegation like European soccer, watch out. They can poach all of the college kids with no ties or prior relationship with the Tour.
  3. Never thought we'd ever see Evan so healthy again. Can't wait for the new album.
  4. Anytime you can take a tournament to the 4th best course in Tulsa, you gotta do it.
  5. Julius Jones is guilty as can be. However, he probably deserves a new trial. There’s legit no evidence that Glossip had anything to do with the murder other than the confessed killer’s now retracted implication. Glossip has survived the needle by minutes several times. Hopefully, he’ll get a new trial. In Texas, I’m ready for Blaine Milam to get his sentence carried out. I can’t even read the facts of that case without getting sick to my stomach.
  6. This hits home. My survival technique was to punt on first down. Even if I knew I was in the right, it wasn't worth the energy and outcome of the fight. I've had so many in depth conversations about things that normally would be very much outside of my comfort zone before MDMA. Either: scared of being vulnerable, scared of being laughed at or disregarded, or that my opinion wasn't worth rocking the boat. Fucking baby boomers that grew up internalizing all of it, showing no emotion, not expressing love, etc. ravaged a bunch of current 30-45 year olds. Of course I know my dad loves me. Does he say it? No. Did that somehow stick in my craw? yes. But now, it's all good. I can't expend energy over three words that I already know the answer too. With my wife and our baby, I tried for so long to suppress it and be stoic and the rock. Very successfully for 3-4 years. Shit catches up. Since the journey, I have talked more about our daughter than the last 5 years combined. I let loose of A LOT of guilt/shame/grief. Her death was the "main intent" of the journey. Once the magic pill hit, I can't explain it, but I started thinking about my daughter. I felt a warm sensation on my right side. I FELT her. She was telling me that "she's ok" "she knows she is loved" "she's real", etc. Really fucking powerful stuff for me and my wellbeing. Unbeknownst to me, at the time I "felt" her, a butterfly was flying around and rested on me. I had no idea it was happening, but my therapist caught video of it as it went down (just because he thought it was unique and powerful). He doesn't film our session. I'm not perfect. I'm not healed. I have a lot of work to do, but this is the most hopeful I've ever been. Can't wait to go back. As if Oklahoma isn't bad enough, they are about to enact a law (my understanding from my therapist) that charges therapists 5k a year for their license, take 10% of all earnings, and make the therapists upload their notes to a common database. So that will fuck mental help up even more. Who would want to have their deepest and darkest on a server that anyone can hack into? Embarrassing. My therapist is considering giving up his PhD and license to avoid it. No license or PhD would make it illegal for him to carry out a "journey".
  7. I had my first journey yesterday. Feel like my cup is empty today. No energy. However, the journey gave me some breakthroughs and how to tap into my feelings and rationalize and free up some of the weight off my daughter died a stillborn. I feel blessed to have the opportunity. I got my in through friends that have gone through the process. Therapist has hookup on MDMA and mushrooms. I very much recommend it to any one who is carrying PTSD, trauma, or grief that they haven't processed yet.
  8. Fucking Presti hit a grand slam at pick 12 with Jalen Williams. He’s unbelievable. Getting a lot of love ROY even though Paolo will probably win.
  9. I need to make this again. It's hard to beat for something that takes so little time and preparation. Glad you liked it!
  10. My psychiatrist is guiding my journey. We’ve had many basic therapy sessions. It’s at a secluded cabin that a holistic church offers as its space.
  11. Going on my first “journey” in april. Suppressed a bunch of shit when my baby died. Have several friends that have made tremendous strides doing journeys.
  12. I'm overweight. Like 6'5" and 320lbs on January 1, 2023. Did the dry january thing and decided to keep going. Cut out all cokes, sweets, and fried stuff too. Riding the bike some, too for cardio. Just weighed in at 287. Being sober around drunk people is the biggest adjustment. I certainly feel and sleep better than I have in quite a while.
  13. I would assume that it was from his Legal Writing Requirement. All my tests in law school were locked on some network that wouldn't allow you to get on the internet or your notes.
  14. I had to use the google machine, but this one is awesome.
  15. Drink a lot of water, take some Vitamin C, D, and magnesium. Alka Seltzer cold and flu helps, too. Should be good to go in no time. Get better!
  16. OKC has some absurd cover percentage on the 3rd quarter. I've been riding that for a while now.
  17. LeBron is going to break the record tonight. OKC without Dort can't defend anyone right now. Something is strange about the Dort "injury" too. Almost seems like they are keeping him healthy for the trade deadline.
  18. I just can't fathom taking Will Levis in the top 10 or Anthony Richardson in the top 20. I may be missing something, but those two seem like potential flame outs.
  19. How Knopfler plays the guitar better than almost anyone in the world without a pick is crazy. I really like his solo songs: “What it is” and “Boom Like That”.
  20. Solid Rumble. Cody looked good. That Ricochet and Logan Paul spot was fucking sick. Really thought Rock or Cena was going to run out as 31 since Rey didn’t ever enter.
  21. If Chet was healthy, they’d be playing for home court in the first round. I can’t fathom just waiving Isaiah Joe. Dude can shoot the lights out of it. I think a lot of the Thunders success is direct result of getting Chip Engalland from the Spurs as shooting coach.
  22. i don’t watch the Rockets every night. Is this his normal effort level? Silas needs to be canned on the spot if he’s letting it happen nightly.
  23. OKC scored a franchise record 150 against the Celtics without SGA. The Jalen Williams kid they got out of Santa Clara can really play.
  24. Waiving extradition. Should be in Idaho by next week. Can’t wait to read what they have in the PC Affidavit
