  1. Yes, no shit Kawhi was a late bloomer and a developmental prospect picked outside of the lottery not a fucking top 3 pick so there's your explanation. Nobody is arguing Luka showed out at a younger age. Luka has a superior offensive game, Kawhi was more of a balanced player. Luka won a scoring title, Kawhi won 2 defensive player of the year awards. Neither has been an NBA MVP, nobody gives a fuck where who finished in the voting if they didn't win it. Luka hasn't won it and there are plenty of flashy up and comers on the landscape so like Kawhi he may very well never win one, either.

  4. They're a bunch of butt hurt little bitches now, just wait till a few years from now when they're winning 30 games a year again.
  5. Just repaying the favor for all the shit Mavs fans talked after the Spurs were forced to unload Kawhi. Now y'all are gonna be wandering the NBA wastelands for the foreseeable future. The Mavs will be good enough for a couple one and dones before returning to where they were the first year of Luka and several years before his arrival.
  6. Shut the fuck up. At least we have a future super star to build around and something to look forward to. Who is Dallas going to build around? Kyrie? Anthony Davis? Won't be long until y'all are back in the gutter before Luka came along. Good luck. 😉
  7. I'm well aware that Kawhi forced his way out while Luka was traded in one of the dumbest decisions ever.....the circumstances were drastically different. However both players were franchise cornerstones. Kawhi was gonna be the next guy for the Spurs he won a finals mvp and appeared destined for big things. To have that traded away for peanuts sucked, especially watching him win a championship in his lone year in Toronto as a rental. Luka was the cornerstone for Dallas, the guy they were building around. Anthony Davis isn't gonna do much or a late first rounder.
  8. Kawhi : 2x Finals MVP 3x First team all NBA, 3x Second team all NBA 2x defensive player of the year, 3x defensive 1st team, 4x defensive 2nd team. Luka : 0 Finals MVP 5x First team all NBA 1x NBA scoring champ It all depends on how you value a player. Luka is an offensive juggernaut with zero defensive skills. I'd personally say Luka is a better player who showed flashes at a younger age, but Kawhi was also elite in a sense for a lengthy stretch.
  9. As much as I hate the Mavs and their arrogant, dumb shit owner I don't want to see the Lakers get better ever. Mavs y'all are gonna have to settle for a one and done if y'all can even manage to get through the play in. Anthony Davis will be on the bench watching the Mavs lose. Remember how us Spurs fans felt watching an extremely talented piece in his prime be traded away for next to nothing? Now y'all know.
  10. Solid trade. The Spurs pick up an offensive weapon, dump off a bad contract, keep the young core entirely intact and should make the playoffs. This doesn't make the Spurs an elite team by any stretch, but they definitely got better with this trade.
  11. I had hoped that things would work out with Terry. CDC was pigeonholed into hiring him after the Elite 8 run. He was drastically superior to Shaka as a coach here, but the wheels are beginning to fall off. I'm not so sure Rodney can make things right again. He did a phenomenal job with Beard's players. With Disu gone a glaring weakness really began to show this season. Shedrick is a decent bench player, but he's definitely not a starter and it shows. Tre Johnson is going to be a one and done his year here will end up being wasted. The team is headed towards missing the tourney entirely. I can't see any big upsets being pulled off after what I've witnessed up until this point. I'm not even gonna blame Terry for this, it's all on that colossal moron Chris Beard for getting tangled up with a whack job.
  12. The next Agiye Hall.
  13. Bond has been non-existent for what seems like an eternity. He's broken just like Bert Auburn at this point and can't be counted on. It's been so long since Bond had any kind of impact, Golden stepped up to be that guy but he's hurting. It's gonna be on Moore, Helm, Wingo and the run game to win this. Ohio State is playing chess on defense and Sark is playing checkers. The defense adjusted nicely, the offense is abysmal and unwatchable.
  14. It was the father's rifle, but please feel free to continue running your cockwasher when you don't have a fucking clue what you're talking about.

    Bronny James

Two NBA teams bothered to scout Bronny, one of which was the Lakers for obvious reasons. That should tell you all you need to know. I doubt Bronny could even hack it in the G-League, but he'll be on the opening day roster or LeBron will threaten to retire and ruin LA's season before it even starts.
  17. Did the Spurs trade for Trae Young yet? Out of all the potential trade rumors brought up the last two years this is the one I want to see happen the most. A 3x All-Star PG in his prime would be a solid player to pair up with Wemby.

    New Music 2024

The guitar god dropped a new album. It's very bluesy, a change of pace for Slash.
  19. The players seem to love Rodney Terry as well, oh the most familiar Horn basketball player of all-time seems fond of him too. Rick was a good coach, like I mentioned earlier both parties needed fresh starts. Rick rebooted his career and who knows what the future holds for Texas. With several portal additions and the incoming class Texas could very well make some noise next season, especially downgrading competition. https://www.heartlandcollegesports.com/2024/03/26/dylan-disu-says-rodney-terry-saved-basketball-for-him/
  20. I'm pulling for Rick Barnes to win it all. I never had any hard feelings towards the guy, both the university and Rick needed fresh starts. Things didn't work out with Shaka, but Rick has had a respectable run with the Vols.
  21. Straight up ass kicking. Wouldn't expect anything less from a Shaka coached team in the post season. He had the most favorable match ups of any seeded team to reach the Elite 8 and it looks as if he's gonna fall short. All he had to do was defeat a 15 seed, 10 seed and 11 seed.
  22. Terry accomplished more in his first full season than Shaka did in six. He's got a Top 10 recruitment class lined up and will bring in some extra help via the portal. Give the guy a chance. It was a disappointing end to the season narrowly missing out on the Sweet 16, but at one point it didn't even look as if the team had a shot at the tourney. Losing Allen, Carr, Bishop and Rice hurt, they were key components to last season's success. While this season wasn't a great season, it definitely wasn't disastrous.
