  1. This is exactly the way I expected free agency to go down, the Spurs had practically zero flexibility. Rudy's contract isn't a back breaker, the Spurs have two true wings on the roster which they lacked last season and the young talent will continue to develop. I'd expect the Spurs to move Marco or Forbes for a big if they can't sign one with the MLE. I did see several projections of Green back to the Spurs on the MLE which I wouldn't complain about. No high expectations for 2019-2020, maybe a 5 seed at the highest?
  2. Octane pushes Fever 333 hard, just can't get into them. I liked one of their songs that I heard, but that was it.
  3. My favorite Lamb of God song strays wayyyy away from their typical style. It's a song called The Duke that was created as a tribute for their fan named Wayne who died from cancer. Randy actually sounded pretty good with clean vocals, the first time he's ever done that.
  4. Unfortunately you're probably right, they'll likely fetch more than the MLE. Morris would fit in perfectly and Green has developed into a decent player, either one would strengthen the roster. I'll just hope the Spurs can add a viable big with the MLE.
  5. Marcus Morris or JaMychal Green would be nice fits with the MLE. LMA at the 5 and Green at the 4 would be a nice combo they'd compliment each other's skill sets.
  6. In other news Killswitch released a new single. A new album is dropping in less than two months.
  7. Were you aware that the producer of Korn's self titled album also produced Roots (Which is a bad ass album as well along with producing Slipknot's first two albums) and Max has spoken about how Korn's self titled album influenced Roots which is widely regarded as one of their best albums? If you're jamming one of the biggest metal albums of the 90s just remember who helped play a role in shaping that sound. I like Sepultura (and soulfly) so not sure what I should be cleansing?
  8. Only aggy would create a tshirt to commemorate such an occasion.
  9. You either love Korn or you hate them there's no in-between, we all have our own unique tastes and Metal has countless sub genres. Korn was the only metal band to ever experience any consistent success on the boy band/pop artist/hip hop dominated TRL and enjoyed so much success to the extent that the MTV execs had to invent a rule that required a song be retired after so many weeks on the countdown to get them off the air so they could push their marketable music down your throat. Long live Nu Metal!
  10. Houston fans defended the signing fanatically last season on this board. It didn't work out very well for them, if Melo remained on their active roster for the entirety season I doubt they would've won the Southwest division because they improved dramatically once they rid themselves of that washed up cancer.
  11. Guess who's back with another new album? Doesn't have the wow factor of Rotting in vain, but it's a decent track. This album was sooner than I expected after Jon Davis released a solo album last year touring extensively to promote it along with the death of his wife.
  12. I'm sure Melo will be super enthusiastic about coming off the bench for the veteran's minimum for a chance to play with his good friend LeBron James. https://thespun.com/more/top-stories/new-report-names-most-likely-destination-for-carmelo-anthony
  13. There is a lot of tension between KD and the Warriors on several fronts. There were rumblings about a fallout between KD and Kerr, Draymond publicly bashed him on numerous occasions early in the season and the handling of his injury which led to a serious injury that could affect his longevity and ability to produce.
  14. It's all but a certainty that the Spurs will use their MLE on a veteran big and there could be a trade as well with the logjam at the guard position. The Spurs desperately needed a true wing after last season, Keldon Johnson is the type of player Pop will love. He's a hard worker, a pest on defense and can efficiently knock down some 3s. I fully understand where you're coming from about the Spurs needing a big, but the word is Luka isn't a draft and stash so he'll be on the roster for 2019-2020 and with the MLE used on a big the Spurs should be good for the time being. This offers reassurance on Keldon.
  15. I'm just relieved the Spurs drafted a wing with defensive prowess. Wish they could've snagged Little at 19, but Johnson was projected to be drafted way before 29 so he's a good value and has some upside he was a decent 3 point shooter.

Just because he's talking shit doesn't mean he's "world class". When David Akers and Pat McAfee came out talking shit at the previous two drafts to fans of rival teams that was world class. Being a douche and running your cock washer doesn't equate to being a world class trash talker.
  17. Baker is just butt hurt that Mack didn't offer him to play Safety.
  18. Has anyone that wasn't a sooner ever given him the benefit of the doubt?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if Metu isn't a part of the Spurs organization in any capacity in the near future unless he improves drastically. Metu has potential, but has a penchant for slipping up on the court and Pop has no patience for those types of players see Livio Jean Charles. Don't be surprised if the Spurs grab his replacement with one of their first rounders.
  20. They've been a complete shit show under Pelinka, you believe he can fill out the roster with quality players after the pieces he brought in to "compliment" LeBron last season?
  21. If the Lakers miss out on Kemba or Kyrie who are they going to sign? Jimmy Butler? I'm sure Jimmy and LeBron would co-exist peacefully and nothing could go wrong pairing up a malcontent with a diva. Klay is going to miss a good chunk of the upcoming season and was rumored to favor the Clippers if he did leave the Warriors. I'm going to laugh if the Lakers are unable to lure a 3rd star and have to fill out their roster with a bunch of Beasleys and McGees then flop out in the first round to a team like the Thunder.
  22. That "young core" of the Lakers was extremely overrated. Lonzo was always nicked up and couldn't shoot or hit a free throw to save his life, not to mention the accompanying headache of LaVarr Ball. Ingram/Hart never really took the next step and developed into something bigger. If the Lakers are unable to lure a max player I'm not so sure adding AD will make too much of a difference because LeBron is already beginning to decline showing signs of it last season.
