  1. What terrible plays by both QBs.
  2. But that's because you're a moron
  3. I agree that a lot of it is injury based. No NFL team wants to pay to have him sit a year when they can convince him to wait until the 2026 draft. Nobody is going to be full strength 8 months after Tommy John. He's probably going to end up transferring somewhere and not playing as he finishes recovery. Really bad break for that guy.
  4. I still like the Big 12 and will certainly continue watching their games because their champion will be participating in a little postseason tournament y'all may have heard of that we better be a part of most years.
  5. And Gerry doesn't love him enough. It's impossible to love him enough. Casey Hampton was the best player in the country his senior year and possibly his junior year. Most underapppreciated Longhorn of all time.
  6. Ewers is reading the safety who steps down on the run and is expecting a slant from Golden. Agree that the play looks weird but Ewers's actions have a very simple explanation. Now for who missed the call, only coaches and players on the team can tell you that.
  7. That's not panicking, his first two guys were covered and the rush opened up a lane to his left. He saw Wingo too late, though, he definitely has the ability to roll that throw over the backer and to Wingo, we've seen him make it dozens of times. Not sure what you're talking about with his legs widening, his right foot goes to the side to push off toward his left to start running.

  9. testing 2025-01-05 13-20-33.mp4 Well I guess it works but it looks choppy as shit. I should just accept my advanced age at this point.
  10. Interesting post considering we know for a fact that Ewers made three perfect audibles/adjustments that turned into long touchdowns in our two playoff games.
  11. 2025-01-03 23-45-18.mov Well I'm old so whatever. The .mov was showing embedded in my post editor but either one should work.

  13. It was play action, they showed it on replay (plus you can see it on Skycast version). Play worked exactly as designed but of course with every play action the OL doesn't hold up so Ewers had to step up in the pocket a bit to buy the half second needed for Helm to get up the seam.
  14. Yep that one was a good read and bad throw. You could see immediately that throw needed to be on a line. The only way they make a play is if you float it and let the backside safety into the play.
  15. Ewers was gunshy on this one, I had it as one of his 4 mistakes on the day. Wingo was a pretty easy playside read with his CB bailing way past the sticks and Wingo runs a wide open comeback with room to spare. Not a big mistake but a convertible opportunity.
  16. Not true. You can't be in forward motion at the snap. You can move forward during motion and it happens all the time when changing formations.
  17. It's because he got hit hard. They give warnings when they have to work around someone but there's no collision. It was a completely justified flag.
  18. Not surprising if you watched the game, Bill.
  19. Matt Austin was wrong about that one, too. He had a terrible few days as a "rule expert." It was a ticky tack call for sure, but the WR started his motion before the TE had become completely set after his shift.
  20. The only non-safety option was throwing it away either sailing it over Davis or into the ground next to Golden but that is expecting unreasonably quick thinking plus that the refs still wouldn't have called it grounding.
  21. It comes from wealthy nobility having pale skin so you could see their veins while the working class spent time outside so you couldn't.
  22. It was Tony Jones against Arkansas in 1987.
  23. Anyone who watched Jalen Milroe play against OU and Michigan and is certain they would beat any particular team with a pulse is an idiot.
  24. Exactly. That win was bigger than a quarterfinal, the BC choke notwithstanding.
