  1. There's a large chasm between saying she's not hot enough to fuck and leaving your family for her. I think most of us with families are in between there somewhere. She's good looking enough to have sex with unless you're a poser on a message board, sure. But I wouldn't for the single allowance ctj made in his first comment about her. She's hot enough to fuck, but she's not nearly hot enough for me to cheat on my wife with.
  2. Define conservative in this sentence. Reasonable conservative views are still held and espoused. Current Republican Party views are neither conservative nor reasonable. And yes, I'm proud of leading the "GOP isn't conservative" bandwagon starting on shaggy.
  3. Man, now jimmyjazz will look like Jonah Hill in my head forever.
  4. You fight this disclosure because now curious reporters and political opponents know whose finances to investigate. You know, if something isn't on the up and up. Why you fight it if it's innocent would be a good question.
  5. Don't forget stupid. It's tremendously stupid.
  6. Look, you can have your musical tastes but you'll have to pry my cell phone from my cold, dead fingers before I change my wife's custom ring tone from Crazy Bitch. Which should be easy the first time I ask her to call me because I can't find my phone.
  7. Date format opinion confuses me. He was correct because then files and folders are automatically sorted correctly. Agreed on the latter two even though the double space is dying.
  8. It's still valuable information regarding batters and fielders, or at least it was back in the day. At the highest levels of baseball now they can calculate xwOBA so I'm sure they could extend xFIP to be based on exit velocity and launch angle given up to get a true measure of what a pitcher is achieving on his own. But we should all agree that Daly doesn't deserve a 2 RBI double on his stat sheet for that play. I mean good on him for driving in a run with a sac fly in a pressure situation but that's what he really earned by himself.
  9. Yes it's an E9 but it's 100% the centerfielder's fault. If you're the CF and you call it then you fucking catch it. Not that I'm complaining.
  10. The salty tears are delicious. Again, I responded to the post complaining about oil money. No more, no less. Everyone can continue to feel free to respond to things I didn't say, though. So far that's two. With a third we can have our own treble!
  11. I can only read what is written. I'm not some sort of wizard like Guardiola or a healthy KDB.
  12. Also, state ownership (and a shitty state at that) is a definite issue and I hate it, too. But if you are against billions in oil money buying success you should probably stop supporting the University of Texas and its teams.
  13. City 1 Inter Milan 0 A nervy match but a win. Still, a bit disappointing of a season without the quadruple. I suppose we'll have to sell some oil and buy some more players.
  14. Ah yes, baseball the way I like it. F yo three true outcomes.
  15. It's one of the dumbest and worst takes I've ever seen on the surly football board. And yes I know what I just said.
  16. Okay I'm old so maybe it's been used before but the "That ball had a family!" call on De La Cruz's home run cracked me up.
  17. Yes he did. He's one of those players you forgot about but when you hear his name again (like I did here) you think "yeah he was fun to watch." Not that he was a great overall player but he was exciting.
  18. Correct, Ryne Sandberg is one and it was 1984. Just seeing that year written out might give away the other for us older guys.
  19. Willie Mays holds the record for most triples in a season by a right-handed batter since WWII with 20 in 1957. There is a tie for second place with 19, and both did it in the same season (I keep finding triples season coincidences). Name the year and batters.
  20. The only thing dumber than letting batters and pitchers take as long as they want between pitches is your weird belief that such delays are a wonderful feature. Integrity of the game lol
  21. I mean this is an even better point but it doesn't help my agenda. Ha.
  22. I'm assuming it's a very small number of people. I can only think of Frank Thomas. But it shouldn't be that surprising. The SEC was not that good at baseball for a very long time. For decades the Pac-10 was the best conference in college baseball and the west coast overall, even their minor conferences, were better than the SEC overall. At that time the NCAA would seed the tournament regionally and absolutely screw the west coast teams by making them travel when they were the better teams. I wrote articles back in the day pointing out that you could make money every year in the NCAA baseball tournament by just betting the moneyline on the team whose campus was located further west. Now that the SEC is good at baseball suddenly being the better team is more important.
