  1. Honestly it's nuts to me that they're saying Dallas had a 1 in 27 chance to win at the point shown below. I would have thought it to be much lower because they factor in team ratings, etc.
  2. Again, James Buchanan was President. If one is ever elected, they would be out first out gay President.
  3. It's really not. Mateer didn't suck against Texas because of his injury, that's just silly to say. His mistakes were mental.
  4. So we will be right behind Vanderbilt in this week's rankings. That will start an interesting dialogue when we have the head-to-head but we scheduled Ohio State and not Virginia Tech. We will see how seriously they take their talk about rewarding or at least not punishing teams who schedule great non-conference games (hint: not that seriously).
  5. That's exactly the problem. It absolutely was a blowout but we just fuck around late in games to make it look closer on the scoreboard.
  6. It doesn't matter but it even makes our big wins less enjoyable. And it makes it much worse when lots of people only look at final scores.
  7. We have zero urgency in these situations. I know it doesn't matter but there should be pride in playing to a standard. Regardless of game situation or if you're third string.
  8. They call it when it doesn't matter. Hell it looked like the head ref had a smirk as he called it.
  9. I mean the refusal to call holding on our opponents' OLs is just absurd at this point.
  10. Pete Thamel has a camera presence and voice made for Twitter
  11. Phillips is looking pretty damn good. Even lowered his shoulder to get around the RT on that 3rd down play. Big man couldn't get down to him. And Lefau spooked Bevo. Don't do that shit, dude.
  12. Refs take 2 minutes to decide it's legal to call holding on an Arkansas blocker.
  13. That's true, it goes both ways. The absolute worst thing you can do on a busted coverage deep pass is try to make a perfect throw and overthrow the guy. The slight underthrow on the one to Livingstone was perfect, but it definitely should have been to the inside to keep him from having to turn.
  14. Let's keep the pressure on. Only Notre Dame has kicked the shit out of Arkansas this year.
  15. Uh, that was not a good deep ball. Completely on the wrong side of the receiver, if he puts that to the inside it's a touchdown.
  16. Weird, you would think that would play to our DBs' strengths.
  17. Agreed, he might be able to align the defense and tell everyone what their responsibility is but he's not very reliable at executing his own responsibility after the ball is snapped if he has to make a decision.
  18. You sound like a real man. I'm very impressed.
  19. Lol they're trying to give them a touchdown on that
  20. Agreed, there is no indicator at all. He was head up the entire time, didn't launch. Where they may fuck him over is he left his feet after contact was initiated. He also did initiate contact with the head area of a defenseless receiver but it was pretty incidental. I don't think they overturn it. (Not a comment on whether they should, which they should)
  21. Yep, that 100% looked like Taafe had rush responsibility if the back stayed in to block but he just wanted a big sack moment and didn't stick to his responsibility. He has had just an atrocious game.
  22. Now that was utterly fantastic by Manning, that is what top flight college QBs do. But to be honest, I liked that deep throwaway earlier just as much in terms of development. Started to get pressure, everyone was covered, identified a receiver and threw it 10 yards over him. He has taken a sack in that exact situation about a dozen times this year.
  23. He was throwing it away, play was covered, that was a good play by Manning
  24. To be fair, this is how Arkansas is 2-8 on the season. They have a good offense and they make big mistakes.
  25. So Livingstone needs a touchdown run now
