  1. And Fox Big Nook Kickoff show will be at the CU game for the third week in a row.
  2. When we were both at our respective (rival) grad schools, my wife's team was in the middle of the longest win streak in the rivalry's history. It sucked.
  3. Didn't realize that fuckwad was there. As if the game couldn't have been worse. https://youtu.be/eZzD1L1XXCc?si=n2JDzaWaDappr7V2
  4. True. To be fair - still brutal. Thank god my other Bears and the Buffs both did well earlier in the day.
  5. Yes, you can. That's the whole fucking point. The most massive roster overhaul in modern fbs history, and this was the spotlight where we first got to see hints of whether it was a complete disaster or a success.
  6. Anyone saying this game was anything other than a massive accomplishment for Sanders and the CU program is a moron.
  7. Could be. Whoever it is I bet that professor has uh, lost a few friends.
  8. No, but there's been a lot of speculation it was ASU. Doubt we'll ever know.
  9. Last fall the PAC had an offer from ESPN for $30 million each.
  10. Perhaps that it will now be even harder to get enough "dissolve the conference" votes for them to ever get out for free.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if it's earlier than that. Do they need to? They've got several footholds in Texas, no one else is really worth it, they have plenty of members...
  12. Again, that is not how that works. Nor can Stanford and Cal just "wink wink" some research dollars NCSU's way.
  13. I don't disagree on anything you've said here. As a Cal fan, I'm glad to see them get a home - no matter how crazy or perhaps temporary, fully acknowledging the ACC could crumble in the next 5 years. But going to the ACC with Stanford is better than being left to the MWC. I personally would have been happy seeing Cal and Stanford join the 4C schools in the Big XII, but I don't think that arrangement had interest from either side. Cal fans were talking about it some, but I don't know to what degree Cal admin entertained it. I've seen no Big XII fans that would have been in favor. I'm just glad this is done. Now I can spend the weekend drunk and enjoying the games instead of refreshing webpages looking for updates.
  14. The UNC board is advisory. The president has the vote.
  15. Well, 1) I'm glad to see Cal get in, and 2) I'm glad to see Cal and Stanford can continue playing as conference foes, but 3) Seriously, this is so stupid
  16. I'm 99% sure that number was Canzano completely not understanding something. Like he somehow thought that the remaining teams would collect all revenues for the year that would normally be distributed.
