i am notoriously cheap, but i continue to be amazed at the amount of money that is spent on concessions in the stadium (especially alcohol sales).
i will often make mental calculations (during the 4 minute commercial breaks) of the total cost of what are in people's hands as they walk by me up the section stairs
ie: 4 beers - well that is $36.
my son and i have gone to games for close to 15 years now. He is not a fan of the cannon and always holds his ears when he knows it's coming.
we were at a High School game the other night. The team scored a touchdown and he instinctively held his hands to his ears waiting for the cannon.
We kind of had a laugh over it.
We are nothing more than mice in a CDC's lab experiment.
uhh, no we really are not capable of doing it ourselves.
i hate to be that guy, but the flow of people does need to be relegated. maybe i am super sensitive to it, but have had a couple semi-scary moments toward the bottom when the crowd got all bunched up. you can get bottled up in those enclosed landings with no where to go, if the flow down is not managed at the top.
