Tell Me About Texas a&m
Sorry but I hate hate it when people call it C-Stat. Its like they are trying to make College Station sound cool and hip like saying SoCo or NoDo. Don't fall to that lame-ass aggy branding. Want to use a term like Pyle Field? Sure. Otherwise...

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
" Entering 2025, he remained buried on the depth chart behind Ryan Wingo, Emmett Mosley V, DeAndre Moore Jr. and Parker Livingstone along with incoming true freshman like Daylan McCutcheo, Jaime Ffrench and Kaliq Lockett. Butler saw action during non-conference play this season against UTEP, Sam Houston State ad San Jose State, which was highlighted by a 17-yard catch against Sam Houston, but the writing has been on the wall. With the majority of Texas' wide receiving corps likely to return, he would remain deep on the bench. It's probably in Butler's best interest to head elsewhere if he wants to receive playing time."

I have graduated after 20 years
Congratulations and I'm happy you found a counselor that cared about you and helped you make it across the line. People like that are worth their weight in gold.

All right ... don't worry about Baxter. We've got a 2 carries for -2 yards option hitting the portal.

What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
How do y'all not know who Buzbee is? He's not quite The Hand Doctor but he's a bit of a celebrity in Houston as being a real classy dude. For those who need an additional reference...

Weird that his head is tilted instead of straight on. I hope he doesn't have a neck injury like Arch's shoulder.

I mean, really, just so perfectly aggy. For reference, he's the kind of idiot that spouts this off on a regular basis. Texas A&M OL Trey Zuhn III on Texas LB Anthony Hill: "He's a great player, but he's nothing that we haven't seen before and nothing that we can't handle."

...and if they have half a brain, they have insurance: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/15388893/2016-nfl-draft-prospect-jaylon-smith-collect-5-million-insurance-policy This is 2016 so I'm sure the policies are even better now...

Citrus Bowl 2025 Game Week Thread
Seriously. Two-all time teams... two of the biggest programs providing one of the best match-ups of the post-season. Imagine being a Longhorn fan and thinking, "no, I'm done watching Longhorn football now. I don't want this game" WTF y'all!? Win the game and move to a tie for fourth with crybaby Notre Dame on the all-time list. Two of the top five most-watched teams in 2025: Also... Who wants to bet we draw more eyeballs for our bowl than three of these four first round match-ups?

Besides I'd rather finish with a 10th win and a possible top 10 finish

RIP Tom Hicks, Longhorn legend
"and an English Premier League soccer team" I like how they didn't even bother to list the team, as if their audience would be like, "what the hell is Liverpool? That sum, uh, water park?" (cough cough a team worth over $5B)

Tow their fucking ass
Yeah but... Liquor Stores in Illinois Kroger sells hard liquor at 27 locations within our grocery stores in Illinois.

Tow their fucking ass
Someone from Texas complaining about another state's liquor laws is rich.

Tow their fucking ass
This is the same strategy people should use at UT football games. Figure out which buildings have open access like the UGL on game day and go drop a clean, glorious deuce

Tony is just so altruistic. Just doing it for the right reason$

I won't hit my number but it's ending well and at least it won't be the Armageddon I expected.

The Italy Thread
Was looking at prices... seemed kind of high but man that would be nice

The Italy Thread
Here are some completely random Italian pictures... Knockoff cologne in a supermarket in Puglia. For those who don't speak Italian, "Gabbiani" means seagulls: Me crying while taking a picture of fresh burrata and mozzarella di bufala: Emergency brakes on my car at the beach: The beach: Foraged arugula: One of the best views in Puglia at a fraction of the cost. Second time we stayed here. This time we had air conditioning. Herbie: Probably spent a total of 12 weeks in this apartment, looking at this view... and I miss it so much.

I'm trying to see if I can pull off a flight into Italy next summer with miles.

The Italy Thread
Man, y'all would laugh at the types of places we stay when we go to Italy. I can include pictures of our laundry hanging on a line, the owner's cats wandering the property as we go to our apartment above a restaurant, the pile of shopping bags to reuse for our daily run to Conad or Coop. Maybe I can get my wife to take a picture of me acting like the local closed circuit TV for the block...

Ski Season 2025/2026
Ooofff... been a rough year this year but skiing is always in the back of my mind. Looking at driveable options this year that include something for family members who don't want to ski. Current options are: Purgatory - Durango is kick ass and lift ticket prices are reasonable. Will Hesperus ever be open? Taos - duh but Taos and NM is just risky from a coverage standpoint. Seems like another good dump coming this week. Santa Fe - use SF as the base. Ski some at SF, maybe drive up to Taos a couple of times or even fart around in Sipapu Wolf Creek - don't know squat about Pagosa Springs but Wolf Creek already 80% open with something like 1200 acres Monarch - Salida any good or crap? Would love to do CB because its my favorite mountain but the F'ing Epic Day pass goes off sales in two days and I hate how they force you to decide in advance like this. Juarez on Highline in Taos looks like its getting packed...
