  3. thanks, but we’re in Houston
  4. dry january is gonna sink some breweries. december was horrible and january and february are going to be worse. we’re a fairly popular brewery, well regarded, in a great spot and we’re struggling right now.
  5. watched the new clooney film “the midnight sky.” fucking terrible.
  6. seemed like he would GIDP at every single opportunity
  7. ironic they use the word “trademark” to describe their own product
  8. this makes zero sense to me unless there happens to be a severe shortage of restaurant space in munster, indiana. if they own the real estate, its impossible to make sense of. if they lease, there has to be someone willing to pay to take over that is a better bet to succeed than an absolute 100% fail-proof concept (on the other side of covid). just don’t get it.
  9. How on Earth did you stumble upon this website, Mrs. Papelbon?
  10. because they hose the actual restaurants
  11. unfortunately junior’s dad passed away.
  12. i’ve lived in houston for 32 of my 40 years and i have never heard of charnwood.
  13. wow, i didn’t realize it was that big. after reading a couple more articles about them, i wouldn’t be shocked if they’re in for $4-5M to get the place open.
  14. looks awesome on instagram. breakside is a great pedigree but typically youngish brewers aren’t flush with cash. curious where all the $$$ comes from. more than a couple million into this place already.
  15. he’s literally never pitched even 140 innings in a season. i wouldn’t easily dismiss that kind of offer if i was him.
  16. i was just talking to a buddy about what LMJ’s open market value would be if he was a FA this off-season. I don’t think he would get anywhere near $15M/yr. He’s never reached 130 IP in his career. Of course a healthy season in 2021 changes that.
  17. altuve would get thrown out at home on a 1-hopper to RF? come on, man.
  18. been trying to figure this out myself. i guess if TB wins they’ll try to get the game in before NFL starts, so an 8am first pitch.
