  1. 3 AAA batteries to impress a girl when we were in middle school.
  2. Works like a jet ski. There's a no wake button you hit that pumps a small amount of water through the jets without having to use the throttle for docking, trailer and other slow maneuvering.
  3. 270/70 r18 is a weird size. Maybe you searched by truck, but if you did it by size the first number usually ends in a 5.
  4. I have a couple friends with those Yamahas and like them. Takes some getting use to for docking and trailering, but no winterizing appently. I've never run in to very shallow water at LBJ, but I grew up on boats inshore on the Texas coast so shallow is relative I guess. There are all sorts of financing options in boats, but it would suck to have a payment, in my case, for something i use 50 days at best a year. If you're new to boating, go used. I bump in to shit and worse all the time which would suck in a brand new financed boat. Quality boats last a long time if they are maintained properly.
  5. Broke a key off in one of these before, bolt cutters made short work of it.
  6. Some Russian will pick it up on the cheap.
  7. Theyre agressive, just not as aggressive as those hybrid Nittos. They have a warehouse in Dallas, so it will take 2 days to get them since Discount doesn't stock them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. I think I mentioned on truck nuts, but I got a set of Faulkin Wildpeak AT3W and they have been great. I'll hop on Tapa and post a pic. 818 from discount, no warranty or any of that though.
  9. I'm probably fucking something up, but they're not hiding from me.
  10. Me: Company is having some meetings and a big party in Vegas in June and we can bring a significant other, you in? Wife: oh, that sounds fun, we should bring the kids. Me: ....
  11. How's it look? The reviews on Lowe's were no bueno, but for $2/bag I'm going to give it a go.
  12. Pretty good deal on mulch. https://m.lowes.com/pl/Premium-Bagged-Mulch/4294593286?AID=10926682&PID=4485850&SID=31ac6fda38d311e891f76ea02c65049f0INT&cm_mmc=AFF_CJ-_-4485850-_-1122587-_-10926682
  13. When you test drive it, take some hard turns at speed. If there is a noticeable shake something isn't right.
  14. Holy shit, that is an impressive find.
  15. It won't look like that this year...
  16. I have to factor my 2017 return was 20% and 25% respectively.
  17. Never mind. I'll have to research what ifs in my case.
  18. What kind of returns has the Utah fund yielded for you?
  19. Seattle doesn't have income tax so I'm going all in on Texas for that reason alone. All the potential candidates have sales tax, just not as high as Texas, but not by much.
  20. I honestly don't know. I googled it and that's what it say, the EJ statements sure as shit don't make it very clear. It has had good enough returns in the past 10 years where I never thought about it.
  21. 1) No idea, mine is in a couple funds, CWIAX & CNPAX. 2) The first child will be the initial beneficiary and you can transfer to another later as needed. 3) I use Edward Jones and they take money out directly bi-monthly.
  22. Curious why you guys looking for deeper draft bay boats aren't considering Blue Waves? My BIL has one he runs down in Galveston and it's been a good boat. I've always been partial to Pathfinders for no reason except how they look.
