  1. it's fact that for the last three years he's not been fully fit. if you can't play then by default you can't be the best player on a team, regardless of skill set. it's also super weird that you were outraged and decided to not support england when you thought they did jack wrong for ego reasons, but now that it's been reported that jack is out for being jack you will still root against them.
  2. of course he is. the last time he was fully fit was three years ago, which coincidentally is around the last time that gary neville coached him. if it were 2015 you and gary might be right, but it's not so you aren't.
  3. well, this is wrong, no matter what gary neville says.
  4. from the article: "Rose blotted his copybook last August when he gave an interview in which he urged the club to sign more world-class players and made plain his frustrations at the wage structure." also from the article: "Pochettino was also seeking to mark his turf over the type of player he wants to sign. Typically Levy has preferred younger ones with resale value but Pochettino would like him to consider more seasoned professionals." semantics? because i assume when poche says "seasoned professional" he doesn't mean fernando llorente. danny shouldn't have ever given the interview the way he did, but i think his copybook is blotted moreso by his play this year and the fact that there wasn't any noticeable drop-off from him to davies than it is by him speaking a bit of truth in the press.
  5. screw you for reminding me that i'll probably never see moose play in a spurs shirt again.
  6. @Captain Ron posted this the other day before the match: The general thought is that Poche might actually be swayed by a big name club this off season. Spurs might be preparing.
  7. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-44079462 sad stuff and gives "floating in the forth" an even more haunting meaning.
  8. COYS!!! glad to have champions league football to ring in the new stadium. IF the poch rumors are true, it could also explain some of the team's performance over the last month.
  9. paired with wanyama. like i said...
  10. that's why i was asking whether or not he's ever actually told a recruit they no longer had a spot as a result of taking visits. guys like leal, richardson, and williams are never going to have that happen, regardless of what they do. chase lane may be a better example of the type of recruit this would work on but he also doesn't have a bunch of blueblood programs beating down his door.
  11. does this go back to FSU? have any of his commits ever lost their spot involuntarily after taking visits?
  12. humblebrag?
  13. people who like good pizza?
  14. crestview is the correct answer.
  15. well there are only about 5 tables inside the restaurant. so yeah, people are going to be standing around waiting to order and eat.
  16. lol. the nytimes article was a good read and pretty much reiterates what i posted in response to texanbychoice. trust the process, but it's time to start winning some shit.
  17. as long as spurs don't lose out it doesn't matter what arsenal does.
  18. you mean overrated?
  19. pro-tip: order this and add meatballs.
  20. this is like comparing thick patty burger spots to thin patty burger spots.
  21. sure, but would you put either of those places before homeslice or little deli all things equal? it's not like they cost any less. if the definition of overrated is "it's good but i wouldn't put myself through any trouble to go there when other, more convenient options exist" then i guess it's overrated. but i don't think the reputation as the best in austin is undeserved.
