  1. what if your ex-wife is kate beckinsale and your other option is kate gosselin?
  2. re-hiring the manager responsible for the greatest 5-year stretch in modern club history would not be peak spursy. hiring antonio conte or roberto martinez would be peak spursy.
  3. i'll be honest, if this does happen i'm not sure how i'll feel about it. maybe two years removed from the UCL final season (which, if we recall, was fairly disappointing outside of that run) will have poch renewed. but there are still quite a few players in the squad from those days that need to be moved on as it was clear they had tuned him out by the time he was sacked.
  4. https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/mauricio-pochettino-tottenham-psg-return-20687255.amp? update: maybe gonna happen.

  7. or maybe the fitness concerns under poch are still concerns now that they are back to playing (or trying to) a more high pressing style. bale has looked pretty bad on the ball today.
  8. speaking of kane, his comments about mourinho are more concerning to me than his reported desire to leave absent a top 4 finish.
  9. i'd take him over any of the others being mentioned (brodge, martinez and potter).
  10. this was our concern dude. but does this loss feel better or worse without jose?
  11. he was sacked before he had the opportunity.
  12. gold also mentioned nagelsmann and rodgers in his report. no mention of NES.
  13. most of those reports are just the sun, mirror and daily mail citing each other. not to say he isnt a possibility but those arent the best sources and there is nothing in their reporting that indicates anything beyond random speculation at this point.
  14. the defense being broken is partially on jose. when it became clear last season that toby had lost a bit and jan was not coming back, jose decided to roll with dier rather than upgrade at centre back. maybe there was no better option given needs elsewhere, but if you know that position is gonna be a liability maybe try playing a style that doesn’t rely on them having to protect one goal leads for long stretches of games. trouble is i think he actually rated dier when it’s been obvious to anyone following spurs for the past four seasons that he is not a top-tier premier league centre back. i’ve also defended sanchez numerous times on this board but he has completely lost the plot and needs to move on.
  15. nagelsmann and brendan rodgers have been the top two targets for the past month. hard pass on klinsmann. his last non-international managerial stop lasted three months.
