Idk if it’s true but our last redistricting from the 2020 census is still being contested in the courts so I can’t imagine there is much juice left to be squeezed
What the fuck is he babbling on about? The answer to that question is simple. Make her look like a dumb bitch and say there’s absolutely no reason to bring the National Guard into any city in this country because of local crime concerns. It is absurd on its face
I assume that is going to be good at least in the short run for Hawaii, but are there any other domestic commercial growers of coffee beans? What is the scale up time if it’s feasible to have a significant domestic industry?
I quit watching Bill Maher years ago but there have been some pretty good clips lately of him going off on MAGA. Just saw one where he was praising Newsom for his mocking Trump and he said dems need to quit trying to outsmart the general public and start trying to out stupid them. Sadly that’s what will work
So apparently if you are looking at liberal arts only there is a way to do ACC for one semester and transfer into COLA for spring? Seems like have the kids in callaway and Castilian are doing that
eta and online ACC courses count for some of it
Again I said anecdotally. We don’t know any kids who got into a UC school and picked CU over them, much less Michigan or UVa. The kids that got into CU got no merit based aid and FAFSA was too high for need based. The kids that we know who got into UC schools Michigan and UVA (one each) all got some merit based aid and or need
Anecdotally, Colorado gives very little in terms of merit based financial aid to out of state students, and it is one of the more expensive out of state schools
You say this flippantly, but the UT System has been egregiously derelict in expanding undergraduate admissions at the flagship and increasing the quality of faculty and funding at satellite campuses. As an alum and someone who is currently paying for two undergrads there I say fuck them
In terms of quality of education, UTD is the exception that proves the rule, but is basically a standalone and focused on stem and research. It doesn’t offer students a traditional college experience
edit UT could add 30% to the incoming freshman class and increase their test scores and other measurables
