  1. The parallels between the 2008-2010 seasons and the 2023-2025 seasons are creepy. Seriously, think about each of those and how they match up.
  2. Wisner is an absolute shell of what he looked like initially here. He would take the ball and was then lightning past the LOS. Granted, this year there is really nowhere to go once you reach the LOS…
  3. “I like you Ruffalo. Here, take your badge and wallet back. Go in peace. I wish you well.” (30 seconds later) “Hands up motherfucker! That’s right I got you asshole!” I get it but it played out funny.
  4. I think we've all had bad days in our professional careers, where you wake up the next morning thinking "Oh man. This is gonna suck." Imagine waking up this morning and being Kyle Flood.
  5. How does it compare to UTEP? We scratched and clawed to get to 27 in that one.
  6. And yet another lesson for the democrats on how they need to tone down their rhetoric.
  7. Sounds to me like the democrats all need another lesson on how they need to tone down their rhetoric.
  8. Man, it's almost like he's a conman or something, and was just in it to enrich himself with everyone's money and to stay out of jail. 79 million votes.
  9. I wonder how those "concepts of a plan" are coming along.
  10. He got more snaps than Ethan Burke yesterday.
  11. This thread is making me want to put on Gold or Cold Roses. I’ll just pretend I didn’t read that shit above.
  12. Stephen Miller might as well have horns. It’s not tough to see. He probably thought Hitler didn’t go far enough.
  13. Or just play Neto there. I wonder if he has quiet quit already. You don’t plan for an entire offseason to start a dude on your OL and then just not play him at all.
  14. Um I think Turntine and Robertson could both start for us next weekend if such a thing were possible. (that is an absurd exaggeration but you get my point.)
  15. It's actually pretty impressive to recruit like we have over a five year period, and be Texas in the NIL era of free agency, and put an unranked team on the field. You almost have to try to accomplish that. Especially when you began the season ranked #1 and god dammit I hate everything.
  16. You would think the benefit of the whole "large humans" thing would be that they can generally maul people. But they don't do that either. We apparently look for huge, slow-footed, weak, even-tempered guys to stack on the OL.
  17. I know you're risking fumbles with Gibson, but we're gonna have to start playing him when it matters. And I'm assuming Baxter is still out, because that's what I'm going to assume about him going forward as long as he is a part of this team.
  18. I only skimmed the last few pages, but how many times this season thru only five games have we heard announcers say "Manning had _____ wide open in the middle of the field and didn't see him". I don't know the number but it's a lot, and it feels like more than every other Texas QB in recent history combined. I don't know if it's vision or confidence, but whatever it is it's bad.
  19. It’s crazy that we’re almost to the midway point of the season and we have no idea who our starting left guard will be at Texas/OU. It could realistically be any of three or four different people.
  20. Gerry Hamilton with the fun point: “The best player on OU’s defense will be lined up over the Texas LG.”
  21. I did not see those kinds of games from Campbell and especially Hutson. The rest are about right.
  22. Nope, just longer, slower developing plays, waiting for WRs to come open 30 yards downfield, while your QB is dodging DL like in a video game.
  23. In Eric Nahlin's "horns up, horns down" article this morning, he had three "horns up" (positives). Arch, Livingstone, and the punter. And we had a punt blocked for a safety.
  24. Imagine if Arch was your kid. He cannot continue to take shots like that the rest of the season. It's dangerous. Seriously, a statue like Ewers or Chris Simms gets sacked 15 times yesterday, and leaves the game in the third quarter to head to the hospital.
