  1. Maybe that's why Gerry wasn't sure how many days it would take for us to find out. Hard to time someone that slow?
  2. If you can't make it academically at LSU, your ability to function in society is likely in question. Even Jamarcus Russell stayed eligible. Isn't literacy just a suggestion for acceptance, not a hard rule? I'm guessing injury.
  3. Depends on your time frame. As someone who has done this going back to 2017, in general, if you want it and you see a 10-20% dip, buy. Maybe you can get a lower price and if you do, buy more. Time in the market beats timing the market, unless you are in the 1% that successfully and consistently can time. It's definitely not me
  4. grease fires are really tough to put out. don't put that bad juju on the cedar park firefighters.
  5. Yup. I mean, pk was historically bad but prior to that, consistently good. While you would think someone elite would do better, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that he'll revert back to good to great when allowed to get back into a comfort zone. I think there's a lot of truth to him delegating the backend and given Joseph's track record, that dropoff plus the players we had didn't allow him to succeed. Let him pick his db coach who can teach and execute 1 high man/cover 3 and see how he does. GP, if available, would certainly be someone who can provide elite db coaching, good talent assessment and tips on how to succeed in the B12. If not him, someone else that isn't hot garbage. When hired, Coleman and Joseph were the question marks and now, 7 losses later, we are unfortunately right
  6. Sometimes Christmas comes early. It's been a brutal year. Hoping OU gets to wander for a few years (decades). Hope they fuck this up and grab either Stoops
  7. Cointracking.info. my accountant loved it last year, downloads into a unified excel and you can set tax method as you please
  8. I mean, any amount that you feel comfortable with as part of an overall investing strategy is good. I don't look at crypto as something to get rich on or to put everything into. I know some have and there's always a part of me that looks back and thinks that if I'd just put in x dollars into Bitcoin and eth when I started that I wouldn't have to work.... But at the same time, that's how people take risks that lead them to drinking, bankruptcy, etc. Not to take away from anyone who has and has succeeded. I'm risk adverse by nature. However, I think ignoring the most promising asset class in ten years is dangerous. As an asset class, I think it extremely likely that any money you put in is more likely to be worth more then what you put into equities, bonds, or passive real estate over the next 10 years. However, I still invest in those vehicles as well as others. So TL/DR: put $40/week if that's what you can swing without worrying about it. One suggestion though. Do 50/50 with btc/eth or better yet, 40/40/20 with 20 being good blue chip altcoins. You can search through this forum for some suggestions and obviously do your own diligence and research.
  9. Nice. Shared it with a group, should be more contributions coming. Some of these guys have started to hear through the grapevine but were too lazy to look up link
  10. Subtitles for Coach Gumbo
  11. Quick thoughts: Ian Boyd::fast db: Leon O'Neal
  12. This is a good team. Some talent deficiencies but well coached and good effort. I expect the offensive line will do better with more time together. I don't expect good but average play is within reach. Rest of offense looks good to great. Defense, other then pass rush, looks great already. I think some of the intent on defense was to play vanilla and work on fundamentals. Special teams were good. We likely won't win every game but honestly, I don't think a B12 championship is unlikely. OU and ISU looked like warmed over shit. Really looking forward to the rest of the season.
  13. I don't think it's a dumb question. I faced the same challenge. Here are the options: 1) stake as eth2 (coinbase makes it easy) 2) move to platform that pays interest. Various ways they do this. Voyager is one that pays 5.1% interest on eth through at least the rest of year. There are others but that's the best interest I've found among the exchanges I use 3) offline, either hot or cold storage. I plan on holding the majority for at least 4-5 years but I will sell a small stake once I get to a 20x return so wanted some liquidity. If you don't plan on selling no matter what through 2022 just stake as eth2. My other hesitation with staking eth2 on Coinbase is they only discuss a max apr, not a guarantee. They could easily take a bigger cut and you would have no recourse. At least on voyager you can transfer out and you are getting the same interest through the end of year (could go longer but that's all that's guaranteed). If you own vgx token (which I'm bullish on long-term), you get an interest boost. Both options are pretty low risk but eth2 option is marginally less risk... And forces you to hold. Safest is vault/storage but you lose out on gains and with good security, the exchanges are relatively safe... And for non life changing amounts, probably safer then trusting your brain/memory and doing custody yourself. Good luck.
  14. Signed up, logistical question for PayPal. I assume selecting direct payment through banking versus selecting a credit card (how I usually pay recurring charges) leads to more money getting to the players? Thanks for putting this together. Really hoping the ad gets off their asses and starts to follow the lead and weaponize our brand
  15. I use contracting.info. created a nice excel document my accountant liked and synced with most major exchanges, with voyager being one rare exception (though coming soon)
  16. Thanks, ordered a pair. Have another pair that is close in color but more peach. These are much better.
  17. Posting here because this genius should be shared. https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?/topic/21194-texas-and-ou-to-sec-in-ms-paint/
  18. This is fantastic. So many layers to each panel. The way you capture the essence of aggy with so few words is truly transcendent. Thank you. Well worth the wait.
  19. So you're saying that Aggies can't use critical reasoning skills and have an inability to see logical inconsistencies? Color me surprised.
  20. Lol. I was worried there was a self aware aggy until it mentioned wanting to leave for another conference. Aggy will take second rate citizenship and like it.
  21. Lol, that is a perfect beta cuck move for the fighting Texas jimbos Something, something, your mom Gold.
  22. I've heard this a lot but I have to say the one game I went to in Morgantown we were treated really well and tailgated with wvu fans. Then again, I know the ones who actually have jobs and live in DC so maybe there's some selection bias
