  1. Guarantee this message was crafted to the reporter to indicate that it's Biden himself ordering this to occur. The campaign needs more that Biden ordered this, or Biden said that. I bet we will rarely hear that a change or directive is sourced from the campaign itself. It's going to Biden and then an action verb.
  2. Why do I think that this guy is going to force every student in OK stop their lessons for an hour and require the teacher read a prepared statement or play a video about Trumps “achievements.”
  3. At that sneaker conference, Trump auctioned off the one pair of those gold shoes with his autograph. $9,000 was the winning bid. At first I laughed that the guy paid $9,000 when it would be the same shoe that others will buy for a few hundred. Trump's signature isn't worth that much. But actually I've reversed that thought. I wouldn't shocked if no one receives the shoes they've now pre-ordered. The winning bid of $9,000 might actually be a collector's item in the weird history of Trump.
  4. The grift never stops. However I am pleasantly surprised that a bump of this thread isn't another producer being accused/arrested for sexual assault. I guess we had to run out of producers at some point.
  5. Can the OP explain the infield fly rule to me?
  6. Trump and his backers know that it will be easier to fight the 2024 election results in court (federal, state and court of public opinion) than to actually win the election. His entire campaign mechanism will be preparing to bully every republican to supporting this path. Running the RNC and the purse strings is part of the plan. This year Trump's allies will be better prepared and ready to stir up even more discontent with the results and force republicans to not certify a Biden win. If the GOP retains the House, there is zero chance that they certify the vote. Let's hope that their plan backfires by giving the House to the Dems. I do give slightly more faith that the Senate would certify the election even if the Senate flips slightly red.
  7. I can appreciate that someone (Gen Z, Millennial) today feels like they've missed out on a hot stock market over the last decade. I know because that is what I felt like from 95-99 when the worst year was +20%. I had some money in the stock market but my working career was still newish and I didn't have an opportunity to put much money into the market. In your younger days, it's just about getting money into the the market. The time to reap the rewards is later.
  8. This is where I am. Admittedly I want to see btc and eth skyrocket but I don't see money flowing out of the coins this year unless there is a major external factor. It also feels like we're running out of major exchanges that can have a new scandal.
  9. Grant portrays himself as a billionaire but he hasn’t contributed a dime to the gofundme his wife started. Hmmm.
  10. Trump may not care much about these judgements because he’s close enough to dying that he probably has enough assets to not really impact his spending ability. If you’re Don Jr or Eric, your future money is quickly drying up. of course Trump has to worry about his freedom with the upcoming trials.
  11. If they expel him, can they prevent him from running again? And most likely winning.
  12. Gaetz will either end up in prison or be President of the United States. In our current, active simulation, perhaps both at the same time.
  13. Manchin announcing that he's not running. I didn't think that he was but it's better for Biden that a half-Dem isn't joining the race.
  14. Aggie: Sora, create a video series of A&M going undefeated and winning the national title. Sora: No source data available for that request
  15. Maybe she has multiple iCloud accounts for a forgotten or other reason that she doesn't want to say.
  16. Let's review the type of person that we're discussing. knows the phrase, sequence of return risk participates in online retirement discussions says they will save up 3 years of expenses in cash before retiring I think it's fairly safe to say this person is not going to ignore the market while simultaneously annually pulling out 10% of the retirement funds. Most likely this person has a withdrawal rate of 2-3% AND they're opening up a brokerage account with some of that money because this is the game they play. It's not impossible that a hardcore retirement planner runs out of money but the chances are low IMO.
  17. Weinstein's crazier brother was so bad that he was booted from future Rogan podcast but this one still comes around.
  18. SIAP. The judge can rule that neither she cannot lead the case, which then applies to her entire office. The case would get bumped to the state AG, who would most likely drop the charge.
  19. I'm fairly pissed off that the Fulton Co DA's love life may ultimately lead to Trump walking on this case because she couldn't find a date who didn't work for her.
  20. I'm tired of mentally ill and/or angry people easily getting their hands on guns. I'm tired of irresponsible parents/relatives giving guns to their family members who cannot get guns on their own. I'm tired of irresponsible gun owners treating the world like it's the OK Corral.
  21. A bit creepy when the old priest sleeps the young lady that he helped raise. The 80s were just different.
  22. Great point. Many people do not understand crypto and could incorrectly believe that they have to buy a full bitcoin. I'm sure I or someone has also mentioned it here that the continued success of these ETFs will put pressure on more brokers on allowing IBIT (and other) purchases. Wall St. just wants people's money and their job isn't to protect investors. There must be internal and external pressure to open up the buys.
  23. At these ETF purchase levels I assume that the bitcoin halving even in April will be less of an impact than some think/hope. If ETF buys and mining net out at ~9,100 bitcoins purchased from existing inventories, is that much of a difference from ~9,550 in April? Not a zero impact but I don't see the needle moving much. But not to be a Debbie Downer, I think we hit $100K this year unless there is an unexpected external factor.
