Yeah, the rules are out of date. It's like the bye rule in the CFP round of 12.

I'm not very dialed in, but I know these kids. My daughter used to be their drummer, and now their new drummer is her roommate (among others). Kinda psych-ey grunge-y rock, there's some songwriting talent there. I really like the saturated 'verbed out sound.

Looking at that bracket, of the top 8 national seeds the 2 seeds are pretty similar in terms of RPI. Vandy (#8 national seed) probably has the easiest 2 seed in Georgia Tech (35 RPI), but it's not like GT is far off the mark of the others. I don't know if RPI is so predictive as to allow that level of parsing, anyway.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
jimmyjazz replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Quinn always came across as aloof, both on the field and with the media. The only time I recall being surprised at him was the Gruden piece. Whatever you think of Gruden or those interviews, Quinn was a completely different guy -- relaxed, comfortable in his skin, funny. I don't know why we didn't see that guy more, but maybe it's just the difference between one on one and dealing with groups. (I'm no psychologist, I won't diagnose.) -

That seems a bit of a reach. There are plenty of hyped up QBs who succeed in the NFL. Even so, Arch doesn't seem like the Baker Mayfield type, but even Baker found his landing spot. -
At this point it's almost impossible to argue with a true believer that a photo has been altered, either by addition or subtraction. We could all see this coming decades ago as Photoshop started to explode. I assume there are ways to run a photo through an app to highlight the alterations, but I wouldn't know how to do it. Regardless, it simply wouldn't matter. "Fake news."

Hell, they hired Elko away from Duke before Duke's bowl game. That's a lot more crass than waiting for a guy to lose play in the national championship game before you ink the deal.

Yeah, I think it will be hard to be MORE ruthless than bama/UGA/LSU have been for a while. Demanding excellence is not evil.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the rest of the SEC may soon start to see that Texas isn't the villain A&M would have us to be. Their utter weirdness has already been exposed. But for other conference schools, road trips to Austin have already been seen as worthy getaways where they mingle with more or less level-headed fans who aren't what we're made out to be by the yokels from East Texas. It is my fervent hope that this makes A&M even more paranoid and despondent, which while hard to imagine in some sort of historical sense is fairly likely in a hysterical sense. Those fucking weirdos.

Laid to rest, apparently. -
We're probably doing some studies.

HEB "Wagyu" Top Round. Yellow mustard, 2:1 black pepper to kosher salt by volume. 15 minutes at 450 F, 40 minutes at 250 F. Best roast beef I've ever made. Sammiched it up with swiss on sourdough.

Yup, Pato's Good Tacos. It burned down in a fire early 2000s. First place I ever had nopales tacos.

Of course, Austin 2025 is not Austin 1970 no matter how much they want to press the stereotype.
