  1. The real Carl Spackler or our Carl Spackler?
  2. Yeah, there's a pretty obvious reason why "Hair Of The Dog" didn't chart. That doesn't mean it wasn't a giant hit.
  3. Don Knotts wouldn't. Mostly because Andy wouldn't give him the bullet.
  4. Dang, that's cold.
  5. OK, that's a completely different claim. While I scoff at its veracity, 99.9% success rate implies they apprehended 2,997 and missed 3. One question might be "how do you know only 3 persons evaded capture?" That kinda implies 100% surveillance, which is obviously not happening. Just more Trump bullshit.
  6. Sure it does. The approaching (left hand drive) driver isn't in line with the edge of the car. They're probably 5-6 feet farther out. Again, angles, tricky as magnets? A low speed also (a) increases the likelihood of no collision and (b) reduces the severity of a collision should it happen. You're over your skis. I've watched most of your blather from afar for a while now, but this is just a ridiculous stance.
  7. You're being willfully obtuse. Let's start with the first failure: it is a HUGE failure. It's so bad I would say it renders Tesla FSD (or whatever the fuck it's called) as "not ready for prime time". Moreover, if it HADN'T have failed that test, it would have been traveling at about 5 mph and should have been able to react. You're in a cult.
  8. "Completely hidden" my ass. Angles, how do they work?
  9. Not true at all. I am doubly careful around parks and schools. No way would I have hit that kid. I drive Far West every day and I creep along when cars are parked on the side of the road, I have seen kids dart out way too many times.
  10. Wait . . . a driverless car blows past a stopped school bus and the problem is the rate at which a child entered the roadway from STANDING NEARLY IN THE ROADWAY? Damn, man. You need to recalibrate. Missing the school bus is a giant problem. Not seeing a child in a yellow coat at the edge of the parking lane near what appears to be a park is a giant problem. The Tesla failed BOTH. Those things are a fucking menace.
  11. Gerry Rafferty was a genius. Witness:
  12. Definitely the bigger hit. My starter wife was a Neil Diamond freak, so I ended up learning almost his entire catalog. I've heard enough for sure.
  13. Neil Diamond
  14. Yeah, the CDC estimates 11%-12% of Americans have diabetes. China is at 50%? Idiot.
  15. Got a link? I'd like to see that. If true, then I'd really like to know why there were no journalists quick enough on the trigger to ask "wow, we really stopped 29,999,997 illegals out of 30,000,000 in ONE MONTH???"
  16. My point regarding Earl was not to suggest every player should be judged against their modern counterparts. It was merely to point out that 20-YO Earl could probably play for this era's UT squad. That's not something you can say for a lot of guys, even the best of their era. I wasn't trying to diminish standouts of their time; far from it, I am completely on board with judging players against their peers.
  17. Well, not in the US at least.
  18. There is no way MTG would have been elected Student Council Secretary at my high school, and a significant subset of my classmates were FFA losers who are now happy they can wear their hoods in public.
  19. Look, his parents are from Mexico. He needs to be gone. #DT
  20. I heard about that . . . we don't subscribe. It looks like hulu can dvr and there are converter apps out there so if anyone wants to generate an mp4 video, I'll happily venmo a case of beer. The "live stream" claim is not a thing. They play mid-afternoon.
  21. Just so everyone is clear, that is the senior senator from California having to attempt to fight his way into a government press conference. We are so fucked.

You won't catch me badmouthing Conan's. I left out DeSano's on purpose, and I forgot Tony C's, which is pretty legit as well.
  23. That's a legitimate bargain these days.
