  1. Dogtism. Fantastic.
  2. So how does that contradict what @BrickHorn said? I agree. When I helped take a company public there were all kinds of "how do you look in stripes" warnings, but I certainly don't ever recall being informed about any legal requirement to place shareholder value above all else.
  3. Sounds eerily similar to the look at me, do something for me bitchass white American male. If the shoe fits . . . .
  4. "Game theory" explains a lot in the aggregrate, and can drill down to some degree (home/away, etc.). It does not account for a specific coach's tendencies or on-field talent, etc.
  5. I have no idea if Arch has an injury, but Xavier Worthy played half a season or more with a broken thumb (by recollection) and to my knowledge it wasn't known outside of inner team circles.
  6. I saw the article, but I don't know the photographer. I guess they're well known? Not my world for sure.

Looks like it's time for a BLT shootout.
  8. It was 27 years ago, but Ricky won the Heisman despite KState holding him to 43 yards on 25 carries. I couldn't care less about the Heisman, it's a shit award given what they did to Vince & Colt, but one need not have a perfect season to win it.
  9. Did he say he was receiving offers for the land value or the business? I would assume the former, most investors would rather build condos than run a BBQ joint, but you never know.
  10. Not my point, but you knew that.
  11. This prompts a question: which defense played better yesterday?
  12. LMAO at Ketch. Sark isn't about to give your dumb ass a blueprint for his offense. It's hard enough to keep opposing coaches from cracking the code. I'm not saying Sark is infallible, but if his offense were so simple Ketch could define it then we would be royally fucked.
  13. His footwork and mechanics seemed solid throwing from the pocket. On the run, he gets wonky and sidearmed. I did like that throw late where he had to have heard the hoofbeats coming up from behind but stood tall and got the ball away. Ewers would have bailed to his right and gotten clobbered anyway, most likely injuring his pancreas in the process. The full game summary of his throws was slightly more gruntling than I came away thinking right after the game.
  14. Did they catch you groping your side piece on the Kiss Cam?
  15. Well, at least that appears to have improved, with a notable exception being the tush push. Somebody in another thread lamented that Sark doesn't seem to be able to land badass running backs. Uh, Baxter? A triple ligament tear can set a guy back for awhile.
  16. We really didn't get to see Arch throwing under pressure very much last year. He had several really exciting plays, two of which were with his legs. I've seen the claims that he has a great arm, and I'm not ready to dispute them, but I hope that arm shows up in the next 3 games which would make the argument that it was the pressure and the environment much more believable. Just like Quinn has flaws, so does Arch. Turns out all humans have flaws. I said on some other thread that Arch appears to be the anti-Quinn: good pocket presence, great athleticism and running game, can take a hit w/o getting hurt, but man some of those throws. At least maybe people will give credit where credit is due regarding Quinn.
  17. It's situational. You're in a low-scoring slugfest with a great team on their field in front of 100K+ drunk rednecks. Take the fucking points.
  18. The Broken Memory Club. Wait, what?
  19. So "forward" progress? LOL.
  20. That seems exactly backwards, and especially the play call. (I don't think it was the 1 foot line either.) We were in a 15 round slugfest where 10-14 points could have won it. Read the room, Sark.
  21. Correct. CFP semifinal: 29 attempts, 58 yards, 2.0 ypc Today: 37 attempts, 166 yards, 4.5 ypc
  22. It's perfectly reasonable to talk about Quinn's self-sacks and poor deep balls. Why isn't it perfectly reasonable to talk about Arch's poor short and intermediate passing?
