  1. Guess I really lucked out on that whole Rapture thing being postponed. I think about the world quite a bit, and I've seen Brisket quote that before. For the record - The govt told us we were only taxpayers - have to make sure the layabouts who can't afford taxes don't starve, ya know. A literal drag on a proper society, but they are fellow citizens, don't ya know? They need that more than you. Hillary beat you to the punch there, hoss. So despicable. Just despicable.
  2. Only partial credit. I champion an "everyone should pay tax" approach. But don't the energy these days to fight with the progressives who are big mad other people did better financially than them. Definitely don't have the energy to fight with them about why everyone should have "skin in the game" while they hollowly fight for the poors they've likely never met outside some type of charitable event.
  3. Well that's good. We should all strive to be +1.5m annum earners. This is the easiest place in the world to "make it". And correct, just as you are looking down on me and cracking jokes, it naturally should follow. Bonus to the night, you have me doing math on the delta between my earnings and those poor fuckers getting sent to El Salvador or whatever the fuck. Shit I bet your taxes cover like 1500 of their incomes. Big Dog. Good deal.
  4. That's really cool. You divested your company (BD for your buddies group, iirc) and paid some taxes, or, you are full of shit, or have seriously misjudged my situation. Either way I couldn't give a fuck. I happy you did well, it's why this country is the greatest on earth. I often wonder how fucking hard you'd have to try to not be able to make it here. One of us is going to be stressed, anxious, and up in arms for at least the next 3 years. Hard to put a price tag on several years of this type of entertainment.
  5. If i work real hard, and Daddy 47 ever gets off his AZZ and sends out those checks he PROMISED. Maybe.
  6. #blessed And, I haven't even gone broke from the extra $2 i pay for my strawberries to be picked using legal labor!
  7. No where close to the impact the last admin had on me personally? Hate to break it to you, but Kamala wasn't going to figure out how to fix inflation, either. Cost of goods? Come on. Showing off all those big Doc brains.
  8. Lol. Been enjoying the decay of yall's mental health from the sidelines. Bravo, to some of you. Like a miniature version of the leopards/faces thread.
  9. Bout as hard as loading a shotgun, I guess.
  10. And it went so well the country chose Trump 2.0. Not sure what kind of point you were hunting there.
  11. Unless there was another blooper, you are misremembering. He was trying to unload an A400 Beretta. I distinctly remember because he was using one of the ugly ass blue (BLUE, not rust blued) receiver models, which are set up specifically for clay shooting. *Most of the ones you find on the shelves are 30/32" barrels, and they all have extended bolts and a flared/enlarged loading port. It's kind of the opposite of the guy who brings his camo SBE to the 5 stand. And anyone who's handled semi-auto shotguns knows unloading them can be less than graceful. It was funny to Pubs because they were being force fed that he was the most masculine masculine to ever masculine, in the history of masculinity - a walking, taking set of bull balls. It was funny to me in that had he chosen a traditional upland arm, he likely wouldn't have fumbled it away. Also had to struggle with my thoughts on whether he really was a life long hunter who is white trash enough to bring a flashy clay gun to a stately upland hunt, or did one of his aides run down to the nearest beer bait and ammo and grab the coolest looking thing they saw? Hell there are ranches in S Texas that you wont get an invite back to showing up with that bullshit. A governor that's a lifelong hunter knows those types of things.
  12. Probably not worst idea. That's what I probably would have done, but I've always wanted a different lock to lock ratio than what I've got.
  13. White wings were pretty easy limits down in Fal this weekend. The birds were there if you did your part, hell even if you didn't. We don't have any sunflower or sesame but have plenty in the area and that really keeps them around. Wish the general didn't open on a Sunday.
  14. I know 2 people with the 3.0 Both love them. Small sample size but that's all I got. If they are anything like the big DMax, then I wouldn't hesitate for a minute. Just got rid of mine 150 miles short of 300k. The new owner is towing all kinds of heavy shit around south texas with it and has already put on a good amount of miles.
  15. This was a VERY popular draw for Nilgai about a decade ago. People claim it used to be ~33% draw yearly (I doubt it was that high) - the numbers I saw on the draw apps vs allotments were no where close to that, but people used to post about being drawn several years in a row, etc on TXBowhunters and Txaggy. This link shows the apps vs allotments: https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/hunt/public/public_hunt_drawing/hunt-area-details.phtml?OArea=UC I don't know if the word got out or what changed, but it was a very good Nilgai opportunity if you felt like packing one out. I put in for a group for a few years and never got nada. Also, lol at the questionable hunting on the KR/Kennedy. We used to see them all the time from my buddies house on the land cut, but didn't want to end up buried in an unmarked grave out in S Texas over some tamales - as absolutely delicious as they may be.
  16. Never had to reseal the helm but have had the cylinder done a couple of times at a couple different shops (2x in last 15 years). I would guess a competent shop could handle it? The rebuild kit looks to be a dozen o-rings and new stainless hardware to button it back up - shouldn't be a terrible job I wouldn't think.
  17. Only if you arent adding it to your main trust though, I thought. The one shot or whatever I know was coming back withing a week.
  18. Both. Didn't get them removed from the NFA like they should be, but I'll take it. I wish they would have pulled the suppressors from the NFA at a minimum, but whatever. Don't even care so much about the stamp, it's the fucked up processing and time.
  19. I guess I never followed them outside of this thread. I personally didn't think they were a good deal at $250, so never checked back in after that. That sucks to hear about your boots. I have a pair of caiman lucchese that were several days/week wear boots that I put down for a while, then were uncomfortable af when I picked them back up after a year or so. They are currently at the cobbler getting new soles to see if that will fix it, but I'm not sure. If this doesn't fix them they are getting donated. I've never had a pair of boots stiffen up like that before. Just flat out uncomfortable.
  20. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but there are 1k Tecovas? There are a a half dozen considerably more reputable boot companies with exotics at that price point.
  21. I had an inkling but went with it anyway. How fast we fall.
  22. Agreed. But, and this is important, grammatically correct.
  23. Yeah. It was funny when you made fun of his education, specifically his writing skills, then ended your very next sentence in a preposition like an uneducated rtard.
