  1. It’s true. And all that money is trickling down where when they die off? To every Gen Xr on this board. Will probably even be able to continue to afford those nuggies at these exorbitant prices. A board full of people with solid portfolios bitching about the investor class and how the same co’s their invested in are killing it, will never not be funny. Enjoy your XOM divs while bitching about gas prices and the climate. Fuck outta here.
  2. Enough to understand how businesses make money. And enough to know it’s lol to listen to people complain about what drives stock prices higher, while the only means of retirement for 95%+ of the country depends on it. But oh no, my chicken nuggy costs a .40 more than it did a couple years ago!!1! Just how in the fuck are we going to live thru that kind of gouge? I graduated from a UT@ school. I’ve posted as much dozens of times in the last decade on these boards.
  3. Enough to get a finance degree?
  4. It’s like y’all don’t understand why your 401k’s are where they are. Agree. But I’m pretty sure Tysons has that figured out. They don’t hold any duty to provide Biff with a price he finds reasonable, until the point he switches brands. And at that point, the boards questions become legitimate. Without seeing a drop in sales, they should be asking why have we not reached our peak margin. And why should you keep your job, since you can’t identify efficient margins.
  5. Now that’s just nonsense. I get it, dude is either doing it for the maroon clicks, or the be the first guy to “get it right”.
  6. What margins should businesses be allowed to make? Where should they be capped? And do you believe they pay enough in taxes?
  7. Haven’t read one word of your arguments in this thread, but here to confirm that your aggy posts are definitely on point. To the extent that I read txaggy and laugh, then a day later I see that you’ve highlighted and posted the exact same excerpts here. Sorry to interrupt discussion of something with actual importance. Carry on.
  8. Still has the coloring of a lower slot, too. Awesome.
  9. @williemackgarza it’s like Christmas waiting for your panhandle (and Mexico, really) posts every year. What a great couple of areas to spend time.
  10. This has been literally every job I've held post college. But this thread has been eye opening about how fucked it is for some (presumably) very talented people at about 50. Scary stuff. Hope all of yall that are floating land soon.
  11. I did this awhile back. It was the worst interviewing experience ive ever had (but I haven’t had all that many). Anyhow, if everything is headed that way, I’m going to try and find my last spot at about 45. Finish the last decade or so somewhere I don’t have to move again. What a beating that was.
  12. Meh. Would rather feed someone grateful to have the work. Learn to code?
  13. Single issue voting should be discouraged. Hopefully the R’s can get onboard with some of the more sensible restrictions someday. I fear they will not.
  14. Agreed. Something that would work should be proposed without the pork. Instead, we get tightened up braces and suppressor regs. Where’s what’s her name and her welcome to America gif?
  15. Why you @ me? Because some maniacs killed a bunch of people?
  16. Heh. Though your point remains.
  17. Yeah fuck those guys. Plenty of good contractors out there to go along with the bad. Not worth letting this stress you out this bad.
  18. I started wanting a bed cover when my immaturity and stupidity dropped off a cliff (relatively). Bed cover is when you acknowledge you’re a real adult imo.
  19. I’m thinking any good trophy store could have it done. Also thinking it would go good at our lease, where it’s 5 aggys and 1 horn
  20. That’s my recollection*. Beautiful land, beautiful people (mostly). *potentially influenced.
  21. Everyone there is good looking at a minimum over there.
  22. It’s because you understand they aren’t the problem, but the lowest hanging scapegoat? I don’t know, don’t have time for riddles today. Have a good one jimmy.
