  1. This seems like a 100% certainty, not a mere possibility. Literally in anytime prior to the last 20 years, a person living life as an open Trans person was a surefire way to get assaulted or killed. At best you were looking at total social ostracization and loss of employment.
  2. Its the norm. I'd guess that's 98% of all felony cases here.
  3. welp, lets wait for the body count, and then move on until the next one.
  4. maybe he's in vancouver every day of the year except when a Trans person commits a crime
  5. Not entirely. They actually have a number of different metrics. I've long suspected that aggy games the system because any practicing lawyer with an aggy undergrad degree is going to artificially inflate aggy's law school ranking. But I do agree that the name led to an influx of better applicatns. An explanation of the pie graph above. Still doesn't explain how they've leapfrogged a bunch of very strong, well-established, regional schools with good reputations. A non-exhaustive list: USC Wake Forest Boston College Emory W&L Fordham Wisconsin Georgia
  6. 193 House Republicans voted against the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which provides over $2.35 billion to expand vital school mental health services and improve learning environments. This is the most significant gun violence prevention law passed in 30 years. 202 House Republicans voted against the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, which helps keep guns out hands of people who are a danger to themselves or others. Senate Republicans have blocked background checks from even getting a vote. 201 House Republicans voted against a red flag bill that would create a federal procedure for law enforcement to intervene and prohibit people who are a danger to themselves or others from possessing a firearm. 210 House Republicans voted against the American Rescue Plan, which provided $12 billion to address mental health needs arising from the pandemic. 196 House Republicans voted against going after gun traffickers, which flood our communities with firearms used by criminals. 193 House Republicans voted against cracking down on the spread of ghost guns which are used by criminals and minors because they can be bought without a background check before President Biden took action to close that loophole through executive action. Now imagine getting upset at those who mock the "thoughts and prayers" solution offered by the GOP. As opposed to those who are actively and intentionally allowing persons like this Minnesota shooter to acquire assault weapons.
  7. and yet, your side continues to fight to allow this person to have unfettered access to automatic weapons.
  8. Actually, now that you mention it, strange that that logo has not also become a rallying cry
  9. Where was @Zeus's outrage over ANY of the massacres committed by the right? Nowhere.
  10. How else are we going to continue to have Zeus's ideological brethren massacre gays and Latinos?
  11. He also likes pedophiles, so you have to assume he's into diddling kids. Also, inb4 Ani shows up to scold us for being mean to Earl.
  12. If you're keeping score But also, go fuck your own face.

  15. Do you want a fatwa, because that's how you get a fatwa.
  16. Did Trump fuck children or not? Claiming ignorance would be a thing. Lol
  17. Attempted murder is a tough one, especially in this context where a guy is just beating on someone with his fists. Absent clear evidence of intent - e.g. a recording where the defendant explicitly states that he is going to kill the victim - unless a defendant is using a gun, or stabs a guy in the heart or neck, its hard to get an attempted murder conviction even from the most violent assaults.
  18. Agreed. Not even sure why they make the news anymore unless its like 10+ dead. Its the price we have to pay to protect our right to own guns. So why make a fucking bother?
  19. Big loser cries about his action figures increasing in price due to tariffs: Oops! I voted for this, but please don't blame me as I didn't personally impose tariffs
