  1. I thought it was Lafau, but other posters are saying Ant.
  2. That's why I don't get paid millions of dollars to corch the footballs
  3. I would 100% take the points in a game like this.
  4. I'm not buying that the D is gassed after one god damn quarter. More like no holding being called.

  9. Still not as cool as: 'His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular'
  10. Twice: See, the system WORKS. The rest of us: Ain't shit gonna happen. Twice: Ahh well, nevertheless.
  11. What makes you think Shrub isn’t all in on this bullshit?
  12. Pfffffft. Free markets will sort it out.
  13. I’m surprised Newsom hasn’t done that yet.
  14. I don’t think I’ve heard a word from any of them since Johnson sent everyone off on an early vacation. I hope they enjoy their break, they really deserve it with all the hard work they put in by bending over to every one of dotard’s whims.
  15. Should he stroll over to the WH and whoop the dotard’s ass? I’m for it, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen.
  16. I don’t believe a damn word they print about acceptance rates of early decision vs not early decision.
  17. Back during the GFC there was an auto parts company that was teetering on the brink of bankruptcy (weren't they all?) but received a capital infusion that apparently the entire market didn't know about. I was screening stocks for low P/B valuations and it was one that popped up. The stock was trading around $0.10 per share and had $5 per share of cash on the balance sheet and no debt. Stupid stock would bounce between $0.10 and $0.20 every month and a half or so. I played the yo-yo several times with a small amount of money. Then one time when it got down to $0.10 I figured I would take all my prior "winnings" and go all-in. Next pop instead of $0.20 was up to $0.50. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I smartly cashed out everything. In all I had something like $25K in this stock on an initial investment of $1K the first time I played it. Fucking Warren Buffet ain't got shit on me. A year later, same stock was $28 per share.
  18. Early Decision doesn't make sense unless it's your #1 dream school to begin with.
