  1. I guess. But that wasn't rocket science there and it turned out to be an abortion. Completely lost his chance to get some points before the half.
  2. Abysmal job by Sarkisian. you've got a minute + left with three timeouts....punt and pin them and get the ball back with 40 seconds left in good field position. instead you trot your team out on 4th, burn a TO and then you're fucked. wow.
  3. Atrocious coaching. you had a minute + left with THREE TOs left. then this....
  4. If you don't get points here you're not going to get points. Let's go.
  5. WRs are non-existent. At some point they need to get space.
  6. They've been fine. WRs are getting zero.
  7. WRs getting no space, completely shut down.
  8. Not really. It's a 110 decibels there with that line. Necessity.
  9. Man, Plohetski hates him some Garza. Guess it's pretty easy pickings for a journalist when you're fucking up as much as this slime.
  10. Great work as always. The only downside to Texas / Ohio State is that weirdo Gus doing pxp for the game. 60 seconds into the broadcast he'll break out his pet go-to "....the world famous Ohio State University". That will be the first of 8 - 10 times he says it during the course of the game.
  11. The stadium's been whored out for decades. This isn't going to make any difference.
  12. Garza's a fucking unbridled tapeworm. But there were 350,000 people in Travis County who chose not to vote in November 2024. They're as much of the problem. On the subject of pieces of shit:
  13. Any good animal story is a good story, period. These people must do good work.
  14. Not an issue with proper training.
  15. Another Giovanni's is some of the best pizza in town (that's not a restaurant). Tucked in a corner of the Barton Hills Food Mart on So Lamar. The chef from the old Mezzaluna downtown. He's been in the food mart for a long time, barely enough room for his ovens and a couple of staff. But some amazing pizza.
  16. Least of my concerns flying out of / into ABIA.
  17. I didn't know that many died that were at HTR RV park, at least 37, the single largest cluster of deaths in the disaster. This park is immediately adjacent to Blue Oak, the park run by the owners of Howdy's and where Pat Green's brother and 3 family perished. Everyone else staying at Blue Oak survived. Howdy's is the red building to the far left. HTR, or its remnants, is in the immediate foreground. Green's brother was staying on the little island area near the restroom building that's still standing (center, a little to the right). https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2025/08/15/texas-floods-rv-park/
  18. Yeah, zilla needs his own thread for stories.
  19. Heard Overshown on the Musers a few weeks back when they were at camp. Such a solid, grounded and humble guy who makes it a point to go home ever year to give back to the tiny place he's from - Arp and its 1,307 residents. Nice story: https://www.kltv.com/2025/08/09/cowboys-overshown-hosts-third-annual-back-school-event-arp-city-park/
  20. I hate it as much as anyone. Some of the best times I've had with friends were on Friday / Saturday nights on the Strip (and downtown) at a hot table. Everyone becomes best friends, chips going your way, drinks flow, bigger tokes for the dealers. The O'Shea's on the Strip was especially an epicenter of good times - table sat right on the the boulevard, got the street traffic and people watching, bar immediately adjacent to the table with Lucky the midget overseeing things / pouring shots, going eye high to women's crotches, and on. Heading there later this week. It's a never a bad time as there's nothing like that city.
  21. It's the least of his problems, personified on that first strip where three big issues reared their head, again - terrible pocket presence / awareness, limited mobility and bad ball security. End result was an easy sack for the defender, a takeaway and a 7-point mistake in a situation where you absolutely have to avoid it all costs. Problem is, Ewers simply isn't equipped to avoid those type mistakes and they're even further accentuated at this level where everyone is faster, quicker and stronger. Didn't need a crystal ball to see it - those issues, and others, aren't going away.
  22. Lack of pocket presence / awareness. Not going to change.
  23. Golden Gate is (was, soon) a great place to play craps (plus dancing dealers). Those tables are about to be gone and it's a trend that's going to continue. Operational cost + lessening demand = death of live craps. I mean, why mess with social friction, unpredictability of dealers and judgment from other players when you can have an ETG? The interactions, surly dealers and camaraderie / reactions from others around the table are exactly what make live craps so damn fun. Oh well, the die is being cast and there's no turning back. There will continue to be live craps tables, with the trend of continued higher mins, but the reality is that there will continue to be less and less of them. Long read, Roeben can tend to go on and on: https://www.casino.org/vitalvegas/golden-gate-to-replace-all-live-table-games-with-electronic-table-games/
  24. Netflix (deservedly so) gets full credit for generating great content over the last few years. And then there's garbage like this. Guess everyone deserves a hall pass. Texas caricatures and cliches can be capitalized upon in quality fashion. See Mike Judge. In this case it was a failure and a show that was pretty much unwatchable despite Malin's 24/7 Open For Business sign on her vagina.
