  1. @SubliminalHorn is absolutely in an at risk demographic. I'm sure you weren't aware and I'll let him tell you what's up if he wants. but let's all try not to build divides where we are all united
  2. so, I uh have this theory. I think elon might be on drugs NOW HEAR ME OUT I think elon got on drugs long ago. right? rich white south African does drugs...news at 11 whatever but then there's grimes. she fucked up his world with sex, drugs (but the real bark like a dog, bitch drugs), and whatever she calls her music. (yall know this theory of mine if you've been around) the problem is that she stepped on some childhood trigger. I reckon it was a sex trigger that turned into a drugs OH MY GOD SEX IS SO MUCH BETTER ON DRUGS situation, which then turned into a OH MY GOD THESE DRUGS ARE TELLING ME WHAT A VISIONARY I AM; FUCK; I CAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE situation. I also think she got him some drugs that he's never heard of and they blew his mind. problem is, you gotta come down. that's when the self preservation kicks in. OH FUCK WHAT DID I DO LAST NIGHT; you know it: we've all been there. Elon doesn't have that. elon sees the future. he'll tell you. the problem is, the sober him sees the x fail and the future tesla crater (due to inflated stock prices due to: 1) weird market dynamics that don't make sense that he doesn't understand but loves, 2) tesla benefiting from selling ev vehicles and carbon offsets as a result (seriously, look it up, this will be the ultimate cause of the tsla crash), 3) a weird cult of personality related to Twitter and tesla and spacex as though he is Stalin (OH SHIT I MAY BE CLOSE TO FIGURING IT OUT), and he understands that there is no way out of the trap he's invented for himself. He's never had to face internal failure, so he seeks external sources for the feel good success feels. Enter donald trump v2. V1 was not elon friendly but this v2 version might just be his exit stage wherever so he jumps up and down did this clown because he didn't want to be the clown himself. God the irony Also I'm massively high. The irony
  3. hey Mr. "not gonna die on this hill but I'll spam-troll cloak room and threaten to leave when called out for flat out falsity" - go fuck yourself. this is such a bitchass move and fuck you for using it. you don't get to come in here with your facts all fucked up, and when you're are fucking plainly called out for it, bitch out and hide under @immamac's weird protective umbrella. you are either a liar or a collaborator or a fool. I'm so tired of this dumb bullshit. calling out posters for being liars is not community destroying. it's community self- regulation. Jbj came in here pretending not to care but then fired off how many posts? Lol, whatever bro.
  4. I have so many thoughts on this topic right now I wish I could organize them to try and explain to yall exactly what adhd is as a life long "sufferer(?)" but then again I don't really think it's going to do anything much productive in this conversation because people get really weird about meds for some reason (I get it i really do, i have never been on add meds and it took me to my mid 40s to consider amd start taking antidepressants) and they just shut down and refuse to listen to other people's experiences because some weird part of their identity needs to believe in the superpowers of the human whatever system but they will take their statins and boner pills and their milk thistle and say hey that works for me but I'm here to tell you what works for your and your kids
  5. so...the goats. i just can't get past the dumb goats. it's like they threw that in season 1, with an idea of what to do in season 2, but we are left knowing very little about the goat people. they were a means to an end - the end of drummond, and that's basically it? i probably missed something. it feels like the writers have lost the plot, but they are still killing it with things like the camcorder scene, the hr review, etc. milchik is fucking amazing. great season, but i'm cautious about next season. sometimes when you peel an onion too slowly, the inside gets rotten.
  6. Holy shit man. I'm so glad yall are okay. That had to be fucking terrifying.
  7. Russia. nra. money laundering for campaign purposes-agh! Black bag black bag!
  8. i cannot believe we are actually in here discussing this like the fucking weather. we are fucking black bagging people and OUTSOURCING THEIR IMPRISONMENT. What the fuck. My decision to try and go without news continues to fail

  16. yeah i am not sure you ever thought that. i went up to dallas with you and [redacted] and [redacted]. those folks can enter the conversation as they see fit. i have positive thoughts of coors lights and Virginia slims in my mother's house. i remember talking about Obama care and my saying "it is at least a policy start" and I do remember you arguing so hard against me. My whole point was that "fuck it's not perfect but it is a policy start. Congress can fight against health as a right but I think they will fail" I remember disagreeing. Smokes. Meeting up with [redacted] and [redacted] the next morning. I remember my having 0 breakfast but [redacted]'s family hosting [redacted] and them talking about an embarrassment of breakfast. All I wanted was beer and corny dogs. We all went to the game together... that was cool
  17. think this is a good look? It's unfortunate because I guess at one time I thought you were thoughtful. i was so wrong. stand up and applaud for yourself i guess. i dunno what you even stand for

  20. so I'm sitting in an office park outside an appointment for my son. this office park is a typical one off ben white surrounded by oaks big and small. this time of year as yall know, is fall for live oaks so those little bastard leaves are everywhere. i have been sitting here watching a lawn crew of probably 10 hard worker dudes using leaf blowers for...reasons I cannot detect. near as I can tell they are blowing the leaves back and forth. there is no attempt being made to bag them, nor is there a noticeable difference in the leaf volume in this parking lot in the past 10 - 20 minutes except the appearance of industry and the noise pollution that accompanies it. seems all leaf blowers are out do to is move this problem from here to there. most lawn crew just blow the leaves into the street...where they blow right back into your to someone else's lawn. but rarely is there an attempt to solve the fucking leaf problem by raking and bagging them. this got me thinking about the ethos of leaf blowers as it pertains to our American life. why do we spend so much of our time simply moving problems around instead of trying to solve them? i know the easy answer is nimby but leaf blowers are right in your fucking yard blowing everything back into the pool. I don't get this mentality. is it purely an American thing or is it more of a human thing?
  21. @Bozo_Casanova is doing a truly terrible job of trying to say that policing doesn't mean arresting. Kidding bozo sorta. this is part of the problem with "data driven solutions." there is no real effective way to "measure" compassionate policing. seems the only way we know how to measure it is by arrests made, successful prosecutions, cracked skulls, etc.
