  1. The #1 factor in our declining birthrate is the decline in teen pregnancy. Nothing else even comes close to contributing as much to it. Women in their 20s and 30s are barely having any fewer kids than they did before. /rant, it’s also not 1955 anymore and it’s pretty annoying to hear people talk about population decline like it’s any kind of problem. There is zero negative to it. We have AI, we have robotics and other automation. We don’t need as many people as we once did for economic production.
  2. The enrollment numbers turned in by every school. https://www.uiltexas.org/files/alignments/Submitted_Enrollments_10_31_128.pdf
  3. I’ve talked about how Moseley was a waste of money several times before. I’m clearly not the only one that sees it.
  4. Moseley was a nothing sandwich at WR, they could’ve gotten the same production by taking me in the portal. We need actual playmakers at WR, guys that can stretch the defense, create space, and fight for/catch contested (and open) passes. We don’t have that.
  5. @scramblyn what exactly happened to LT? I thought for sure they had the advantage in the trenches over NS. My NS doubts aside I was surprised to see the final score be what it was.
  6. It’s an old school but just recently became relevant in the past few years in football. It’s huge, 3600+ kids. NE side Houston so it’s pretty hood but they have excellent facilities apparently.
  7. I’ll own up to being wrong on North Shore. Picked them to miss playoffs, picked against them every round, yeh here they are.
  8. Tough day to be a wealthy white suburban team.
  9. His grandfather was an immigrant from Spain.
  10. I only saw him in both Tech games. He literally could not complete anything that wasn’t a quick and easy screen or slant. No arm strength, and he runs like Tebow if Tebow played like a bitch. He was wildly overrated by the media this year.
  11. Well not fully factually accurate I guess. I actually found the play I was thinking of, 4:25 mark of below vid. It was against Washington. Pressure in his face, off his back foot but it shows just how special his arm is.
  12. I watched several Michigan games this year. He’s slow to process things and has poor pocket awareness, but he’s also an elusive runner and has flashed an elite arm. I believe it was the Nebraska game, while getting hit he zipped an NFL-level throw to a tight end that was blanketed by an safety. Just a 20 yard completion in the box score but if I was a scout it’d get me interested for sure. True, but Arch is a 21 year old third year player, Underwood is a barely 18 true freshman.
  13. It takes some serious lack of football knowledge to think Baugh isn’t very good. He’s almost everything you want in a RB. Patient, sets up his blocks, finds a crease and hits it as hard as he can.
  14. We need to get some actual playmakers at WR, and Tony Diaz an easy get. 3 years of eligibility left, one of the top receivers in FCS last year, freshman all-conference, and is local from San Marcos. Dude is an absolute weapon. https://rgvsports.com/utrgv-wr-diaz-to-enter-transfer-portal/
  15. NS has zero downfield passing threat and no explosive playmakers on offense, they are a ground and pound team. Dickinson sold out to stop the run and it worked, but NS got lucky hitting on a bunch of deep passes and long runs. I think LT can shut them down.
  16. Tulane doesn’t play in the super dome anymore.
  17. North shore won’t be much of a challenge for LT next week, that DL is too much. I will give the mustangs credit though, did not have an 8th straight regional title on my bingo card.
  18. He’s a bonafide star already
  19. Latinos come in all colors. From Canelo Alvarez to David Ortiz.
  20. The cities do border each other at parts, I guess technically it could be a 0 second drive. Thanks for chiming in on something you have no idea about. It’s legitimately great pizza, the pizza sauce has a good zip to it and it’s reasonably priced. I’ve been to NYC and I’d rank it over some of the highly rated local spots I tried up there.
  21. University drafthouse is solid. Peter Piper unironically has really fucking good pizza down there. El Patio is great for an early dinner, think they close like at 8 or something. Besides that you might have to make the long 5 minute drive to McAllen for more food options.
  22. It’s unlikely, why risk the injury? I’d be shocked to see any regular starter out there
  23. Lol, no one of consequence on either team will play in that game. Hopefully our walk-ons and 3rd stringers can beat theirs.
  24. Ryan Estrada signed with Minnesota.
