  1. I agree there isn't a huge dropoff, but it will be interesting to see once defenses start game planning for Johnson instead of Weigman. My assumption is that his limitations will start to show.
  2. I keep hearing people say what a huge play that was, but we ended up turning it over on downs 4 plays later anyways, and then Bama scored on their next drive. It actually didn't change anything.
  3. give Venables a lifetime contract!
  4. Is this also where we make fun of the 995 subscribers? Someone on the IT livestream this morning did a superchat for $50 for the right to ask the question why did Johnathan Gray not make it to the NFL.
  5. I disagree. I think even if Arch is ahead of Murphy, even if Sark knows right now that Arch will be the starter next year, Murphy will take garbage time reps first all year. If Quinn had a major injury that would be different.
  6. The different options and combinations of WRs is pretty interesting to me. What are some unique formations you think they could try? How about one side - Neyor outside, Sanders WR2, Worthy WR3; Other side - Mitchell
  7. If there a more appropriate thread to discuss tickets, please point me in the right direction. Family is going to be out of town for the Wyoming game, so I'm thinking about going as a single. Are there any semi-premium options (more than just space on a bench) I could look at for a couple hundred bucks?
  8. I still think the SEC is overrated and full of cheaters, and simultaneously I think joining is right move.
  9. Regarding Wingo and the Missouri NIL law, the supposed benefit is that he can make NIL money in high school if he is committed to an in state school. Specifically, unless I am misunderstanding, he needs to sign a grant in aid to be eligible. But a grant in aid doesn't tie the kid to the school, just the school to the kid, and you can sign them with multiple schools. So what is to stop him from committing to Mizzou and signing the grant in aid, getting the NIL money, and then enrolling somewhere else in January? Is there really a MIzzou collective that is willing to pay a high school kid without any guarantee he signs there?
  10. But if A&M hadn't left for the SEC, they wouldn't have gotten most of their good recruits over the last 10 years, because who would want to play in the BDF. So they still wouldn't have won shit.
  11. All they have to do is just win. If only they would have realized that 100 years ago.
  12. Maybe they could move Conner to the Karic jumbo TE role.
  13. Ordered the paperback. I usually read it straight through, and then leave it on the coffee table during the season.
  14. In 2016 A&M was 7-1, only loss to Alabama, and ranked #4. Knight was injured in the second quarter against Mississippi St and they finished the season going 1-4.
  15. I thought you just copy and paste twitter links and it embedded, but I'm an idiot. Anyways, Jake Langi tweeted about being careful sharing commitment info because people will ruin it, I found it interesting after the discussion this morning.
  16. Anyone want to speculate on what Gerry wanted to say about why LSU might be slipping for Simmons? Bobby told him to leave it alone, because he has relationships and reputation to think about, but we shouldn't give a fuck. This was on a livestream last night for reference.
  17. If Cruz is the most likely to publicly commit, who would be next? Jerrick Gibson?
  18. Outlook for the class by position QB - good RB- looking real good WR - 2 guys soon to be in, shoot for Wingo and then go portal shopping OL - can we get one of the out of state tackles? rest looks good TE - after JW do we hope for a late bloomer? I want a freak here to take the offense to 11 DT - lots of good options DE - we'll find out in 3 years LB - let's wait and poach a guy from Utah's class in December again DB - looking real good
  19. I wouldn't mind a commitment from the guy who runs a 3.65 forty.
  20. 22.4 mph is 32.85 feet per second. 40 yards is 120 feet. 120 / 32.85 = 3.65 seconds holy shit he is the fastest human alive
  21. I thought a while ago someone said Hudson was one those kids that didn't like the idea of people knowing or assuming what he was going to do (go to Texas), and so my assumption a couple weeks ago was this Tech talk was a smokescreen to build drama. Edit: looks like it may be the other way around
