I know there will be a host of posters that pile on and bash your take but we all need to get on board that there are A LOT of people who share this opinion regardless of your opinion of this opinion. Put in someone else on the D ticket and you actually have a shot at their vote.
This is where I’m at, and a lot of people I know, run anyone against Trump with a pulse he gets steamrolled, you can’t say Biden was having a bad day or a cold or whatever, he was cognitively impaired in multiple facets and unless you a diehard democrat only voter no one is going to vote for that, even some lifelong democrats won’t vote for that. Regardless of whether POTUS actually runs the country he is the figurehead, and Biden looked lost, not a shred of strength to be seen. -

I'm on record with this opinion but deferred to Biden being alright to run especially after the state of the union. The debate was...just one of those wow moments that doesn't happen very often. It was such an incredibly enormous miscalculation that it's really hard to logically process and justify as anything other than stupidity or intentional to get him to step aside.
I’ve never posted here, and I’ll probably regret it but I think this is pretty much dead on, I don’t really follow the inner workings of politics all that clearly so I will make a few points, 1. I am really not a fan of Trump, I’d consider myself a moderate. 2. I watched Biden speak in the 2020 debates and he seemed very strong and in control. 3. No way in hell am I voting for Biden after that debate performance, I have seen senility and Alzheimer’s and maybe that’s not what Biden has but to be honest that version of the POTUS shown in that debate is actually somewhat terrifying. As it stands I’m voting for neither, and a lot of people I know feel the same, too much uncertainty with Biden, not voting for Trump, I think a lot of people are missing the amount of people who simply won’t vote for either. Yes, that debate absolutely changed a lot of minds, it was somewhat terrifying and caused a lot of uncertainty with a lot of people. I am not a political expert, just a working class blue collar guy , so forgive my somewhat simple take.-

+ brown and Loperfido
Yea I was pretty low on Brown but he has unfucked himself and I like Loperfido, vlad has a big bat but he hasn’t been exactly been all world since his rookie year, I think there’s a big question to vlad’s ability in the future and his weight issue. I’d of preferred his dad. -
Same theme.
This looks like a lot like the knife edge on Capitol Peak in Colorado, no thanks.-

Damn some of you love an empty BA. If it's between Dubon and Singleton, sure I guess.
Singleton is too fat and slow to be that sloppy, I feel when he has runners behind him he gums up the works, similar to Rowdy Tellez but shittier. -
I’m ambivalent about Otto the character, but the actor playing him is fantastic.
As expected, the dialogue in this show is excellent. My only complaint (beyond the few I discussed above) is pacing. There’s a lot of talking and stage setting without much in the way of plot advancement. I don’t mean action sequences or dragon bullshit, I mean moving the story forward. I guess it’s a consequence of GOT being one [censored] per season, while this is one [censored] for the whole show.
Rhys Ifans, been around forever, was in Harry Potter. -
His 2nd HR made it a 6 run game and cut our win expectancy from 99.8 to 99.6%
Now do his second and third hr -
Hernandez shoulda been pulled after that first 2 run shot, this isn’t the team to pitch dudes with questionable stuff.
-
Loperfido has charisma and swagger you wouldn’t expect at his age, and quiet confidence .
-
Loperfido has earned a shot.

68 mph
My bad, thought it was from hitting the base on the slide. -
Would have really liked to have seen what Bloss could do against not the best hitting team in baseball.

JLo is hurt
I think he took a blow to the chest, was smiling after a minute. -
Strikeout rate be damned I like Joey, he’s a gamer.

Loperfiso strikes out so much not because of his swing and miss but because he watches a metric shit ton of pitches right down the middle.
Feels like he is trying to be patient at the wrong, then he gets behind 0-2 and they feed him dirtballs.-

O’s color guy, former ML P Dave Johnson, spoke just yesterday in NY about studies correlating the number of pitches in an inning to arm issues … he said 30 pitches of max effort is the tipping point from muscle fatigue to tissue breakdown.
Johnson seemed surprised Bloss came back out for T4 based on pitch count … including 35 in the third. Hope he doesn’t have a lasting problem … nice start.
Great, best new guy we have seen this year and we break him. -
Dammit.
if this happens at the end of the 3rd, we probably go to the pen and Bloss doesn’t leave with an injury
Suprised there aren’t more repetitive motion injuries on high pitch count innings. -
Alright, that could have been a lot worse, seems to have very good stuff just nervous as expected, hope he settles in.
-
Sure. Or have some really funky pitch tunneling where they just absolutely can't differentiate between fastball and breaking pitch b/c it comes down the same chute. It was interesting to hear him talk about it. He's read and studied a lot of analytics and didn't watch bull durham where Costner explained strike outs are fascist. No pitch to contact for him. "Bad things happen with contact" or something like that.
Interesting, thanks. -
He actually says his goal is to strike out every hitter- so that could be some measure of why he appears to have command problems at times. He's trying to spin the ball a ton and he's trying to keep it out of the strike zone and get swing and misses. Very LMJ like in that approach- he did similar.
And I get that but to do that don’t you have to pitch like Blanco? Prove the zone before wasting pitches? -
his stuff is fine- he's striking out 10 per 9 and gets swing and misses. His command is a problem most days. He's always been a slow starter at each new level he's played at and he's been better recently than he was before. I think he can be a MOR guy if he maximizes.
I’ll defer to your knowledge because you know way more than me, but to the eye test he looks like a softer throwing Ricky Vaughn-

As infuriating as it may be to you, it exists on a higher population of the country than you’d like to admit.
