  1. I judge shit pretty easily.....did I enjoy watching it or not? I don't think about whether it had meaning or had a new angle or whether it taught me about humanity or if a certain shoe size is required of the actor. This was very good. Full of holes yet I still wanted to ignore my 5 year old daughter (no pics) to watch the next episode.
  2. Yep. We do love doing that but even that gets delayed at Columbus store. "Order will be ready in 14 minutes" does not mean 14 minutes. More like 28 sometimes. But yes, much better than waiting in car through that line.
  3. Silber and I-10 location is decent quality as well. Someone hasn't told them they should cut labor costs.
  4. We drive from Houston to Fayetteville quite often.....sadly, our relationship with the Whataburger in Columbus is over after 30 or so visits the last few years. They were always slow but the last few times, it has taken much much longer with the added bonus of biting into lukewarm burgers. If you take a long time, a requirement is to give me hot food. But it's clearly operational issue in that they likely make the burgers quickly but order sits there for many minutes and finally handed to us. The Sealy Whataburger is cleaner and slightly faster but its not as convenient from an on/off freeway perspective.....and they got our order wrong this past trip. Get your head on right, private equity owners.
  5. How can you write a comparison between Ohio State and Texas with anything but a "we should be doing what they are doing" angle? Written with a UT DB in 2015-202X type angle.
  6. Guess you aren't a WR coach. By jumping up and fighting for it and actually catching it like an alpha, he has no probability of YAC.
  7. I'm sure media and hype influenced it a bit but I would tune into many games solely because Deion was playing. I can't think of one other DB I've ever turned the channel for. Best corner ever. Friends/haters give bs reasons as to why Prime wasnt the best but if they were GM and had to pick a corner, he is first one off the board and the pick is in immediately. They know it. You know it. I know it.
  8. Yeah, LSU has been one of those schools for me where what I arrogantly and intrinsically believe if given a speed lightning response test (dumb dumbs) is not what has played out throughout my career. Some of the most successful people I deal with are Tigers and very sharp. Now, I only deal with those that moved back to Texas so maybe we get the best of the litter.
  9. Proof that heathens can be college educated.
  10. To be fair to him, isn't the one positive of last year that no one is wrong when debating our greatest position of need? Besides RB and X, of course
  11. I prefer tri-tip with my urinal cake rub more than ribeye.
  12. Anyone used cedar to grill up a ribeye? Does it impart too much unwanted flavor? We have many campfires each winter at my ranchito that are primarily cedar-fueled since we have plenty of cedar to chop down....and I've never wanted to cook up ribeyes because grilling them normal way is so fn delicious and I'd get mad being all hungry and ruining my ribeye. But think it would be fun to try it so I'm curious if anyone has experience with cedar and steak.
  13. Same recommendation, not quite as angry at them. Worked near them for a couple years, tried my hardest to like them since I loved convenience and concept. But they made it tough by just being pricks.
  14. Uh oh....I'm very nervous of my go-to. Truth did not hit it out of the park for me today. That is a couple times of "good" over the last few visits when they were so consistently great for so many consecutive visits for me. Good news was the line was much shorter than the last couple months since the article. Don't know if because New Years resolutions or what but definitely much shorter line.
  15. No matter what you do, don't talk about my ratio. It is very important to 12 year old me.
  16. What do our Surly insiders say about the staff's thoughts on these transfers? We the people need to get irrationally upset at the staff for something that might or might not have ever been said.

Been to both Street Market and to Vieng Thai. Both are good, neither were great. Haven found a great Thai in Spring Branch/heights area.
  18. Nostalgia hides many sins. Whataburger has steadily decreased for years but we loved it so forgave it. Easy to blame others but it happened way before the sale.
  19. So I'm neither Cowboys fan/hater nor Lions fan (no one hates the poor Lions) and grew up watching both in their prime...I would pick Barry without hesitation. This is not to say Emmitt wasn't great, just Barry seemed next-level special to me.
  20. Brisket and the Jap cheese. If in mood, I get a rib hitter every once in a while. But I do fuck with sides. The tater casserole and corn pudding are both my go-to's. Other sides are good but not as good. Soda game strong. Bread game weak. And bring your own napkins.
  21. Which one of you is Hedge? This has to be a parody account.
  22. I have taken great pride in my arrogance against aggies since the early 90's. Do what you want aggies, we are superior. Never did I care what they did or didn't do. It makes me sad that for the first time, I'm hoping a coach leaves so that it knocks them down a bit. I don't like this weak feeling of hoping something doesn't work for them so that it makes UT stronger. Please get me back to arrogance quickly.
  23. Not as good as Local Foods pickles but still quality. I will be analyzing the napkin set up next trip. Actually, I know yall can't wait so I'll do it now.....I don't like it. In order to get a napkin, I have to hold the roll down and many people have touched that roll doing the same thing. Napkin game at Truth BBQ = weak.
  24. Truth BBQ (houston) line update: got in line at 10:50 am, sat at my table at 11:30 am. But what I really wanted to add was that their soda carbonation levels are always on point. That is very important to the experience. I hate flat soda.
