  1. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner reportedly received roughly $2 BILLION in money to start his own investment portfolio. But Hunter...!!!!!!
  2. Trump is suppose to be at a MAGA Policy Event in DC. He’s suppose to talk about his policy agenda if he runs again for President. Give me a friken break!!! I’m sure all he’ll talk about is a repeat of election fraud, how the world has gone to hell since he left office ( because his was the greatest presidency in history) that the Dems are taking all your freedoms away. There won’t be one single intelligent thought out policy agenda mentioned. Why didn’t the Senate Republicans do what they were suppose to do in the second impeachment and ban this MF from ever setting foot in Washington, ever again? And yes, he will get out of ALL OF THIS SCOTT FREE. On top of hating all Republicans I’m so pissed at the Dems, Marrett Garland, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and the list goes on and on. I’m venting!
  3. Compared to the Trump kids and how they have financially benefited off the government and ignorant donors, Hunter is nothing.
  4. Saw it yesterday and I liked it but didn’t love it. It was Top Gun 1 with todays budget and special effects. It was sad to see Val Kilmer like that but they did a wonderful job in that scene with him and TC. Very moving. And Jennifer Connelly is a knock out. It’s a great summer movie and that’s all it needed to be. A get out of the heat in a dark theater with popcorn - and escape for a couple of hours. I would go back just to sit in those moving seats that goes with the action on screen.
  5. II is perfect, start to finish. Story, acting, photography, music, directing. Just perfect. It’s the greatest movie ever made in my opinion. But that’s just my opinion.
  6. Every time I hear about anyone talking about secession, I'm reminded of this article in the Dallas Morning News on Jan 26, 2021: Secession talk has always been irresponsible. Now it's dangerous. Texans usually ignore this idea. Now we have to meet it head-on. Secession is like a bad penny. It keeps turning up every few years, promoted by the most angry fringe of the Texas Republican Party. Well, here we go again. Fredericksburg Republican Rep. Kyle Biedermann has announced plans to file a bill in Austin calling for a referendum on Texas’ statehood. Mostly, Texans just ignore this nonsense, as they should. But given the unrest we’ve seen recently, it may be time to point out what a colossally bad idea this is. First, it’s illegal. That much has been proven by Texas itself. In 1869, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a case called Texas vs. White that the U.S. Constitution provides no legal means of exit for member states. States aren’t members of the union until they change their mind. They are part of a bond the court called “indestructible” and the Pledge of Allegiance calls “indivisible.” In 2006, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia reaffirmed that bond when he wrote, “If there was any constitutional issue resolved by the Civil War, it is that there is no right to secede.” Biedermann has been promoting his silly idea and himself, of course, at every opportunity, appearing on Newsmax, Glenn Beck and a Fox affiliate in Austin. He has gathered almost 7,000 signatures on a petition. He uses Britain’s recent departure from the European Union as an example. But Texas is not Britain, and the USA is not the EU. The European Union is a loose association of nations that joined together with preexisting protocols for a member to exit. Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union states that “Any Member State may decide to withdraw from the Union in accordance with its own constitutional requirements.” The U.S. Constitution contains no such off-ramps. Even if we ignore the law and adopt this unpatriotic plan, there are other problems here. Secession would be massively expensive. If it were to become a nation, Texas would have to establish its own military, its own citizenship and immigration laws, not to mention new taxes. If Biedermann’s fancy were to become reality, it would almost certainly mean a Texas income tax. We agree with Plano Rep. Jeff Leach who wrote on Twitter: “Based on what you’ve said the bill does, it seems like the most anti-American bill I’ve seen in my 4+ terms in the Texas House. It’s a disgrace to the Lone Star State. The very definition of seditious. A true embarrassment.” Talk of secession is irresponsible at any time. But just weeks after insurrectionists stormed the Capitol in Washington, the timing couldn’t be worse. If Biedermann doesn’t want to be an American any more, that’s his right. If he wants to move Texas toward an income tax, he’s free to promote that agenda, and even convince a few thousand people to join him. If he’s more comfortable in a place like California where endless referendums have crippled progress, Southwest Airlines is booking flights. But none of those are good reasons for Texas to leave the United States.
  7. A perfect example is Baylor!!!!!!! Second year under Aranda they are Big 12 Champions!!!! Jesus! What is wrong Texas?
  8. I watched the first 2 episodes of the new season and it said a third would come out Monday at 11pm. Love this show and the 3 main characters. Amy Schumer and Shirley MacLaine are great. The whole cast is good. Fun stuff.
  9. Then add Batman (Michael Keaton) Close Encounters of the Third Kind Ghostbusters
  10. Voting, or not voting in this case, has consequences. People that say they are more liberal but don’t vote because they don’t think their vote counts are getting payback. The Republicans are taking our rights away and cramming their religious beliefs down our throats. We are closer now to a Handmaid’s Tale type of country. As a religious nut friend I know said, “this is all God’s doing because we as a country couldn’t do it on our own.”
  11. God, I hate this. Our 2 biggest rivals playing with each other for the right to a national title. I agree that Aggy will never let us forget it if they win. Ad nauseam. But, the teams I've pulled for have lost so I'm not going there and picking anyone.
  12. I love South Bend and the ND campus. I’ve been there several times and always enjoyed being there, especially in the spring. Last time I was there I ate at one of their diner’s across the stadium and set at a table right next to Joe Theisman. That was pretty cool.
  13. I pulled for Texas and they lost 2, then ND and they lost. Next? 😊
  14. I would like to slap and kick everyone that will vote for him only because he has an R by his name and they think he's famous like Donald Trump. Nothing to do with whether he'll be good for our country or Georgia, but sure, let's put one more crazy ass extremist idiot, Like Boobert and MTG, in there.
  15. I wish Lazenby would have done at least one more. He was a good Connery replacement. He would have grown into the role.
  16. Oh, they’ll figure out a way to control the narrative in their own way. There is a week until the next session and I see this getting a smaller and smaller audience as each week goes by. IMO, people have already made up their mind and this that we’re seeing, as painful as it is, won’t change their mind. To me, the key will be how our newspapers present it. During Watergate it was front page headline news everyday. If tomorrow what we’ve just seen is on page 6, then you’ll see how important it is. Cheney was right though, Trump won’t live forever and at some point his followers will pay and will have to answer for their actions and loyalty to this one lying worthless, self-centered, useless piece of crap.
  17. We’re doing the old “rope a dope” with this game. Got ‘’em right where we want them.
  18. Whenever I use to travel for work, I couldn’t wait to get back to Texas for Texas food. People can royally screw up beyond belief what they call TexMex and BBQ outside of Texas. It’s a crime and they should be punished.
