  1. He was in a boot early August. They kept him away from the media and were really coy about his availability. That was still almost a month ago at this point but now anytime he is asked it is he is 100%
  2. This is the key and it scares the shit out of me. Is Wink going to go full Wink and send non stop blitzes ala Don Brown? Then every time they don't get home results in a 12+ yard in route completion? Or is he going to realize that Graham, Grant and Stewart are going to get home more often than not, against any line. Hausman and Barham are both really good and can clean up the run game. Will Johnson is going to be a top 5 pick. That leaves you with a constantly rotating WDE and 4 DBs that they mix into coverage (Plus Hausman and Barham who both cover well), Michigan loves to drop their DE into the flat ever since Aidan and bring pressure from somewhere else. Is this going to be the best D Ewers has faced? Maybe, but I think UGA is going to end up being the best by the end of the season. Michigan lost a ton, but they also rotated more than any team I have ever seen last year, partly due to the depth and partly due to the fact that they didn't have to play anyone until November. All these guys playing this year played last year, A LOT. I know you all loved your DTs last year, Graham and Grant are Murphy and Sweat. As crazy as it may sound, as far as the defense goes, the biggest loss probably wasn't one of the guys drafted, but the guy that got hurt in the Spring. Rod Moore. He was the legit QB of the defense, I would be a lot more confident if he was on the field on Saturday. Fucking Keon Sabb leaving to go to Bama, would have been able to step into that role if he wanted to compete. Ahhh well get your Money Keon.
  3. This is exactly what has happened to Ohio State the past few years. I remember they were going to "hang a hundred" on Michigan in 21 and then Michigan just broke their soul, which turned into Ryan Day and his crusade to tell everyone (including Lou Holthz) how tough his team is.
  4. While Michigan isn't "high flying" by any means, they do have a pretty complex run game, showing different looks out of the same formation, double motion, 3 tackles, duo vs power, they have a pretty decent mix that they can show a look that has been on film and then run something completely different out of it. It was how Edwards broke his two long runs in the NCG, Wash thought they were running X and instead Michigan ran Z and Donovan had 70 yards of clear space. My thought on what they were holding back was that they put on tape that Orji will throw the ball, but that he was only playing about 7% of snaps. I expect Orji to be the QB significantly more than that this week, and I wouldn't be shocked if Orji played 80% of the snaps with a series or 2 for Warren III to give the D a different look. Who knows, we will see on Saturday. The most points scored last year against Michigan was 24, by Ohio State, they held Washington to 13, I don't think there is a path for Texas to score 40+ like many are projecting, but if Texas turns it into a track meet its the quickest way to a Michigan loss. Time of Possession, Less Turnovers, Less Penalties, that is the path for Michigan to win. Side note. I know there are a lot of fans who believe the refs are out to get Texas, be prepared to be enraged on Saturday, because in general Michigan doesn't get penalized much. I am still high off the Natty, while I would love for a repeat of that and a great run this year, losing JJ, Blake, Harbaugh is a blow. This season feels like house money. Before last year I would have been losing my mind in a one score game against Fresno State early in the year (Bowling Green last year. 13-6 in the 3rd quarter with 3 JJ picks) Saturday night I didn't feel stressed at all. Just got to enjoy the game. It was crazy, maybe I am just old. I would love Saturday to be an all time classic like the Rose Bowl, preferably with a different result, if it comes down to a last second FG again that's a win in my book. (Block it though this time)
  5. Michigan is so damn stubborn that even if they answer the question in the first quarter they are going to continue to see if that is actually the correct answer for another 3 quarters. Run Mullings a bunch of times. Put in Edwards and hope he hits a home run. A million passes to Colston. Ground and pound with Orji. Profit????
  6. I keep telling myself that Michigan was holding it back on Saturday trying to keep the playbook under wraps. But, I am not sure I believe it. Texas is going to hit a few big plays which is going to make Michigan get out of its shell of ground and pound and control the clock. Not sure Michigan has it in them to go wide open. Going to say 17-14 Michigan, Michigan’s defense is outstanding, they will keep Michigan in it and Michigans transfer kicker seems to have a leg. He kicks a long one late and Michigan pulls it out. At the end all the stats look pretty similar except Michigan has about 40 minutes of possession Both Texas TDs come on plays longer than 30 yards, both Michigan TDs are plays less than 4 yards. Go blue. I hope y’all enjoy the northern hospitality.
  7. Not breakfast and tours.... The horror. Meanwhile in the SEC I guess it is different. When you expect cash and end up with a breakfast cheeseburger and a tour of the football building. Probably a big disappointment. Head coach handing out envelopes.
  8. If Michigan still has a football team by the time that game is played we are in for sure. I could do a friday night meet up so I can take my lumps in person. I will make sure I am wearing my defending champions gear to my roasting.
  9. hahahah. I told her we had 2 options, head up there Friday night and watch the game at the casino. Or wait until 330 and drive up the day of. Shockingly she agreed to watch the game at home.
  10. The constant "leaks" to Thamel through out all of this has turned this from a one day story to a 9 month long story. The fact that people think this is about signgate and not recruiting 4 years ago is a win for all of the clicks. Harbaugh is done in college, even if he flames out with the chargers he can't go back, by the time he tries he will have another 3+ years of show cause for lack of institutional control, oversight and the other travisshamockery. Thanks for last season, and in hindsight glad he jumped to the chargers, this would be such a cluster fuck if he was still in AA.
  11. I had fully planned on it, but then the wife really wanted to go see Blake Shelton, which I didn't realize was the same damn day until I had already bought the tickets.....
  12. Fuck yeah!
  13. If we get klopp I don’t think making it to the World Cup semis is out of the question.

    USMNT 2024

This is exactly what I said to my wife. I’m like the only way I could compare it is if when Michigan was in overtime in the rose bowl and Alabama was about to run their 4th down play, and Harbaugh ran out on the field to show the defense that someone scored on Ohio State. What a fucking idiotic thing to do. You play to win the game. Were they really going to park the bus and hope for a 0-0 tie and that the worst team in the tournament was going to be able to keep their 1-1 tie? Insane. I see no way Gregg makes it after that. #bluesky

    USMNT 2024

What a fucking joke... Gregg out there trying to celebrate another team saving their asses while their game is going on, and then instantly Uruguay scores. If the slug is still the coach tomorrow I am going to have to take a break from watching, it is just so fucking frustrating watch the talent wasted.

    Noah Knigga

I am going to have to hit up a game to watch this Knigga play.
  17. I wish they made police officers answer questions. I would love to hear the WHY behind deciding this was the best solution to the problem. The "who did we just arrest" question will go down in history.
  18. Not to turn this into tell me about the Detroit Pistons, but the whole situation is insane. Gores is apparently friends with Weaver which is creating a horrible situation due to Weaver being awful at his job. The Pistons have no real plan, and their entire strategy for getting better has been to keep taking fliers on previous lottery busts. Josh Jackson, Marvin Bagley, Weisman, Denis Smith Jr. Shockingly this hasn't worked out. Now the Pistons have a few decent young pieces and one good piece. Cade and Ivey can't exist together, but Ivey has no trade value, Duren and Weisman can't exist together and don't space the floor. Ausar could eventually be a poor mans Ron Artest defender with slight offensive game, and then the next guys are Fontecchio, Grimes and Flynn who are deep bench players on any semi decent team. Can't forget about big Beef Stew and the pistons giving him 20 mil a year for a guy who probably doesn't even make the team on a contender. I honestly have no clue how to fix this team, but maybe in this draft you just take a 3 that can shoot lights out and give yourselves some sort of perimeter threat? Weaver will probably instead pick another one dimensional big man and leave the 3 unaddressed for the 5th straight year. No free agents want to come here, but Klay is a shell of himself and the Pistons have a ton of cap space, so maybe you over pay him and let him be a shooter and hopefully mentor Cade? I don't fucking know, it is just a completely hopeless situation. Need to full commit to the OKC way and horde assets for the next few years.
  19. The front office is horrible. That is the problem. Troy Weaver is the worst general manager in Detroit sports history, and that is a city that had Matt Millen. It is why I said they are the worst run organization in professional sports. The fans are getting it from both sides, the team is fucking clueless and putting it in our asses, and the dumb ass lottery process is shoving it down our throats. We are getting spit roasted, and until Gores sells the team we are just going to keep getting gaped.
  20. Fuck it, after being the worst team in the league back to back years and ending up with the 5th pick both years... Draft Bronny at #5, sign Lebron for 2 years, and at least you put fans in the seats while being horrible. The Pistons suck, and may be the worst run organization in all of sports, but the fans are being punished and that sucks. Can't get better if you keep picking 5th, and no players want to sign with you.

    2024 NFL DRAFT

Out of those guys have to go Sainristill. Dude is going to be like the honey badger, just a heady dude that makes big plays. This one was the beginning of the end for Ohio State
  22. Sucks that they missed the playoffs. Don't lose 7 in a row I guess. Was a fun 2 weeks of watching them claw back in. 3.3 seconds to save your season (potentially) is incredible.
  23. I think Jay would come back with the right offer. Texas seems to have NIL in the bag which would be a huge part of the pitch to get him back to coaching. Michigan apparently reached out to Wright and got the polite decline, but they are a bit of a mess right now. I thought May was the hire of the cycle when it happened, but with some of the shuffling since there may be more winners. May seems like a solid fit for Michigan to get it back on track after Juwan took that shit off a cliff and into a dumpster fire.
  24. Isn't Detroit wins but doesn't cover and Uconn+45 the same?
  25. I wonder if it was the same OG that we encountered. He looked like he was a regular.
