  1. I can deny it. There's a good argument that Penix was robbed of the Heisman. He threw for 430 tonight in the second-best statistical performance by a quarterback in CFP history. Quinn probably beats him tonight if the CB doesn't make a great play on the ball at the end there, or if Jaydon Blue doesn't fumble, or the ball doesn't bounce off Muhammad's hands directly to Odunze. So lose the faux condescension and stop this sad attempt at a victory lap.

Penix played out of his mind. If he played like that all year the heisman should’ve won it. He was making insane throws. That wa slime lsu 19. Unreal. How were we even in this game and it wasn’t a blow out offense didn’t play great defense was shaky. But here we are a heart breaker. So damn proud of this team regardless. I feel for the players.

The play calling was suspect but red zone has been all year so what do we expect.

  2. I’ve been planning this hypothetical Houston trip for almost a month lol decided to hold off on “gambling” until we find out. Im going regardless of the price but I think they will drop from what they are now since there will be more inventory. Curious to see how many tickets are gone tomorrow after the conclusion. Tickets prices probably won’t start dropping till Thursday once people get their seat allocations.

Already have a place to stay. Arrangements for the kids have been made. Plane tickets will be purchased tomorrow. Game tickets tbd. Will wait as long as day before but I probably can’t hold that long from fomo.

The ball is in your court now, texas.

  3. We are definitely looking at the futures market. If you wait until after the Sugar Bowl and Texas is going to NRG, secondary tickets will sky rocket beyond the current secondary market.

So, I think we are either buying secondary now or doing the futures. The math now is if we think we can recover enough to lose less than what the futures cost. Trying to think through that.

Also, if you guys are saying that you’re getting tickets like 2 days before the game, I’m not sure if we can get the tickets and turn them on the secondary market in time.

I’ve been going back and forth. I think they will go down. Probably not significantly but the sugar bowl tickets have gone down some. Upper bowl sections are around 600.

I would think maybe 800-1000 for upper bowl it’s still crazy but surly it can’t stay at 1.7k for upper. I’m personally looking for section 300 and hoping they can be around 1500 if they go down. This is probably wishful thinking and I may end up paying double by it’s all said and done by waiting too late.

It’s hard losing all that money if they don’t make it. I honestly think they make it but there’s a chance you can lose out on 5k and I’m not a gambler so here we are.
  4. Right. Robinson is doing nothing wrong. He’s doing the predictable. Just like Jimbo Fisher did the predictable.
The problem at Texas A&M is that they have no concept of rational human behavior. Unintended consequences follow pretty much every decision they ever make. It’s turdition.
I bet after the initial shock, Mark Stoops is laughing his ass off now.

The funny thing is I could see mark stoops being a better recruiter than elko

  5. Everyone is saying the secondary market for the sugar bowl is crazy.

I just looked but compared to the NC tickets it’s not that bad. I’m gonna keep an eye on these prices till game time and see how much it drops if so. I’m not going, saving my pennies for Houston. But curious to see the price if it drops.

I’ve gone back and forth on buying tickets now or waiting to see if we advance but if the sugar bowl tickets hold Houston is going to be worse. For non nose bloods they are a bit cheaper at the sugar bowl. Right now you can find the 300 sections for 800 only a few, then the price jumps to comparable prices for Houston in those sections 1800+.

I don’t mind (I do) paying 2k each for Houston tickets. For non nose bleeds. Idk if I can spend 3k each. Will it honestly go up to 3k though? (Mostly talking about 300 sections. There are some 100 sections for that price too.)
