  1. show me a study assessing the best way, or any way, to move all of the excess from the red, sabine and trinity basins, to any other basin to the west one study only
  2. it's like the gold commercials talking about "this economic disaster we're having".... that have noticeably disappeared in the last 6 weeks
  3. lake livingston was impounded 690101 and took 5 years to reach 100% capacity it's been at 100% capacity for 98% of it's existence since 1974 upstream water at higher elevations in the trinity basin should be moved west before houston dumps it in the gulf of vespucci because houston WHERE IT FUCKINIG RAINS ALL THE TIME is scared about having it's precious lake below 98% conservation pool so no, i won't forget about it
  4. way upthread i have proposed draining galveston bay and got laughed at - not possble - outrageous - you're a loon - etc. except the dutch conquered the fucking ocean - shit like what i propose IS possible - the engineering is possible and easy - i'm not fixing who owns the water - i guarantee you show wheels and his monkeys an opportunity to sell the rights to all of the water in the state to a foreign toll road company and this shit will happen overnight
  5. yes you are correct and what you wrote has fuckall to do with my solution to move untreated water between select lakes to balance excess across river basins
  6. we don't see this type of game at this level very often hot(?) take: if the away goals rule remained, inter would have shut it down after their 2nd and the cinema stops
  7. for those who have forgotten, dumfries was the fucker that cut us apart in gutter with a goal and 2 assists
  8. i'm not talking about a 108" pipe - i didn't say that sewer pipe is perfectly fine to move water from one lake to another my system architecture has nothing to do with moving treated water i trust you but i don't really care - your argument about jabillon/opex is not relevant here and the germaines got nothin to do with it box outside
  9. BLASPHEMER! DON'T YOU BLASPHEME UP IN HERE!
  10. pop quiz: why did the dutch build 9000 windmills?
  11. can we settle on $50k/mile? and agree that if imminent domain doesn't allow a straight line route, then the route might have to wind around a bit? and if so can we agree that we will put a 10% TARIFF on the cost per mile to account for windier segments? and can we then agree that landowners who allow the pipe to sit above ground get a small fractional taste of the action in perpetuity? said taste that can be sold like mineral rights or water rights? let's get agreement on this stuff before we move on to advanced geometry
  12. The estimated cost per mile for installing an 18" storm sewer pipe, including excavation, backfill, and other related costs, can range from $20,000 to $40,000 or more, depending on factors like location, soil conditions, and project complexity. https://www.google.com/search?q=cost+per+mile+of+18"+storm+sewer+pipe+including+excavation+backfill+and+other+related+costs&client=firefox-b-1-d&sca_esv=088a4fa2f77d5085&sxsrf=AHTn8zqmEfvZ5s85pt4uZqALOrQG7pXKhw%3A1746043229779&ei=XYESaN2qL57fp84P5ceVoAw&ved=0ahUKEwidzeTzxYCNAxWe78kDHeVjBcQQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=cost+per+mile+of+18"+storm+sewer+pipe+including+excavation+backfill+and+other+related+costs&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiW2Nvc3QgcGVyIG1pbGUgb2YgMTgiIHN0b3JtIHNld2VyIHBpcGUgaW5jbHVkaW5nIGV4Y2F2YXRpb24gYmFja2ZpbGwgYW5kIG90aGVyIHJlbGF0ZWQgY29zdHNIu4ACUIEZWOf-AXAbeAGQAQGYAW6gAcEsqgEENzEuObgBA8gBAPgBAZgCRaACiSHCAgoQABiwAxjWBBhHwgIHECMYsAIYJ8ICCBAAGIAEGKIEwgIIEAAYogQYiQXCAgcQIRigARgKwgIFECEYqwLCAgQQIxgnwgIFECEYoAHCAgcQIRgKGKsCwgIEECEYCsICBRAhGJ8FmAMAiAYBkAYIkgcFNTUuMTSgB_iZArIHBTMxLjE0uAetIA&sclient=gws-wiz-serp
  13. lavon is at 493' spillway crest elevation is 475' the watershed just received 3" they are going to have to contemplate opening the spillway flood gates are topped at 503' maximum (engineering/load) design elevation is 509' top of the dam is 514' it's been 13 years since the gates were opened why we don't have a solar/archimedes pipe/screw system to move this water west is beyond me
