  1. Fuck both of those motherfuckers. But lol at Lebron not getting another superteam together. Fuck that shit
  2. Damian Lillard said they gave Kanter more like 45 minutes to decide. Not a lot better, but we all know he can be a bitch like that
  3. Really wish we could've got Ed Davis. Signed in Utah for $10m for 2 years. Oh well
  4. Some interesting names on that list. Jordan Barnett for one, good to see him get a shot. And Billy Donovan III on the coaching staff.
  5. Solid first round for us I think. Samanic seems to have good mobility for his size and seems like he could be a good passer. His shot looks like it can use some work and he needs to get stronger. I think Johnson will fit well with our current guards and seems to put good effort into defense. It's going to be fun to see these guys develop into their roles
  6. I think that was case. I don't really remember what his draft position looked like at the time but if you go back and look at the 2016 mock drafts he was usually slotted in the 12-25 range. I think the same thing happened with Lonnie Walker-along the knee issue if I'm remembering correctly.
  7. I don't think we ever had a workout for Bol. And it appears we've had workouts for these other centers: Bruno Fernando, Goga Bitadze, Nic Claxton, Neemias Queta, EJ Montgomery, Luka Samanic, Marques Bolden, Josh Sharma and a bunch of other forwards that could possibly play the same postion. I'm pretty sure we never worked out Derrick White or Murray either the few years so the workouts don't mean much
  8. Agreed. I wouldn't hate it with the 29 pick but would be surprised if he lasts that long.
  9. For me its the fact that he just missed most of the college season from the same type of fracture that plagued Yao Ming and Embiid his first few years. Other players seem to have overcome it but he's mostly an unknown to me. Not a huge fan of 7 footers with foot problems early in their careers
  10. So I don't really have the confidence that we are getting the defacto 7th pick by everyone else fucking up, not that you're wrong, but I do think some of the teams that usually blow it could get lucky and make a pick that works out. Here's How I see it 5. Cleveland- They got their PG last in Collin Sexton, best players available here will probably be one of the wing prospects that we don't have a chance of getting in on anyway 6. Phoenix- It's pretty well known that they a PG, hopefully they draft that way leaving another more wings and post players on the board for us 7. Chicago- Probably draft a PG here as well considering Lavine was running point for them last year (I think). Also you have to consider that the only players that were reportedly not available to trade are Markannen and Carter 8&10. Atlanta- Probably drafting a wing or big that we would want, which sucks. There's been lots of talk about them shopping these picks but who knows how all of that will work out. Point here is, they will probably take a player or 2 that we want off the board 9. Washington-I assume they take the best player available that plays a different position than Beal. Not sure when Wall comes back but I don't think they'll go PG here either. So a big or wing. Not sure if they take someone we want here, but I do think they fuck it up. 11. Minnesota- All the mocks have a big to go next to KAT here, or a wing. They suck at drafting so I'm not too worried about who they pick 12. Charlotte- I don't know. Another team that I agree will make a shitty pick. Hopefully they go for a guard and that gets us another solid forward or big pushed down for us to grab 13. Miami- Another position I don't know exactly what to expect, but they probably won't draft a center because they have Whiteside. They probably draft the best player available. Their roster is ass and everyone looks replaceable 14. Boston- Ainge does draft well, they just lost Horford and are looking to trade Baynes so drafting a Center here would make sense. Every mock I look at has them taking a different position. I expect them to draft outside of Tatum and Brown's positions here. It will be interesting to see what they do here 15. Detroit- They probably go with a guard here as they have Griffin and Drummond manning the frontcourt. If a solid PG is available here I would think that's who they draft 16. Orlando- Needs guards. They have Gordon-Isaac-Bamba which is a nice young frontcourt 17. Brooklyn- Most mocks have them taking either SF or PF in this spot, Marks seems pretty good so I wouldn't be surprised if someone we want is taken in this spot 18. Indiana- PG or SG is a need. With Oladipo's injury, they may look for a temporary replacement and long term depth, their starting PG is Darren Collison and Cory Joseph backs him up so this probably depends on availability and the Pacers draft board. Bogdonavic(if he re-signs), Sabonis, Turner is a solid frontcourt so I don't see them going PF or C here Seems like there's lots of trade talks and I assume that we won't be major players as usual. Atlanta has a fuckton of picks so I'd imagine they are involved in some of those trades. Some teams may just draft what they view as the best available player regardless of what they have on their rosters. Some players I'd like to see us draft with our 1st round picks assuming we don't trade them- PJ Washington, Thybulle, Hachimura, Goga Bitadze, Dylan Windler, Doumbouya, Chuma Okeke, Isaiah Roby. I'd rather we avoid Bol if he's available. Maybe we'll luck out again and a solid player or 2 will fall to us like Murray a few years ago. I'm confident we can put some of these guys in a position to succeed, which most other franchises aren't able to do. Some picks just don't work out because the organizations drafting these guys set them up to fail and it's nice to not be a pile of shit like Charlotte, New York, Minnesota, Phoenix, etc
  11. This was the year that they should be the strongest though. When they re-sign Davis they'll be losing a lot of the cap room that's available now (or July 6th or whenever the trade goes through). From the Pelicans perspective that makes the most sense
  12. It's been reported that Denver at least made on offer which didn't include Jamal Murray so that was an easy no for the Lakers. Not sure if they're considered the mystery team though
  13. While the Avengers game looks pretty badass and I'll probably buy it, it's being talked about as one of those Games as a Service type things like Destiny and I think they'll be including microtransactions like a motherfucker. After buying a few too many GaaS in the past few years and ditching them, I've told myself that I want to stay away from that business model in general. They say all new characters and regions will be free and no paid DLC. Hopefully that means they will only charge new skins and costumes but how often does that actually happen with these types of games? Like I said, I'll probably buy it (meaning I'm sucker and I'll buy it) but I've developed a pretty cynical outlook when it comes to GaaS.
  14. For those with PlayStationPlus, the Borderlands Handsome collection is available for free this month https://store.playstation.com/en-us/home/games/psplus
  15. I need to see what Skip Bayless, Nick Wright, Sarah Kustok, Chris Broussard, Collin Cowherd, and other similarly brilliant minds have to say about it before I can form an opinion of my own. I also need to see what shoes the refs were wearing... Were there Nike KD's, UA Currys, maybe even some Klay Thompson Antas?
  16. I think I'm going to have to agree with this. White's got really good instincts and his game is fucking smooth
  17. And that's bad news for LMA and Derozan. Hopefully they're on tonight
  18. Y'all are probably right about Long. I just looked at the roster and thought that a guy that transferred in and would be a senior next year wouldn't transfer again. The new transfer rules favor shit like this though
  19. I enjoyed the live tribal this time. I didn't hate the outcome here, Julia hasn't been supremely entertaining or anything. I'm ready for Julie to go but she'll stick around because she's harmless. Wentworth and Lauren keeping their idols is a big win for me as a viewer so that I don't have to watch another episode centered around a player finding an idol the day after tribal. Hoping another immunity idol doesn't come into play after Devens and David played theirs. There's no reason to bring one into the game right now but that's never stopped them before
  20. I have no idea what he's referring to but Royce Hamm or Gerald Liddell would be the my first 2 picks. Unless Coleman, Hepa, Ramey or Febres are just really unhappy in the program I don't think anyone else would leave.
