  2. He's good on other fronts, I am ok with him, unless you get a real top flight keeper. I don't see a need to switch. There are better places to spend money, IMHO.
  3. One last thing - between the final whistle and the PKs, the studio crew was discussing this vs last year's team and how Spurs couldn't close out games and they were asking if this gave some vindication to Postecoglou. To me - NO. Spurs couldn't close out last year because they were run ragged by a lack of a cohesive plan and fell apart often at the end of games due to that lack of planning. One big problem was that they didn't defend well for most games. Today we saw a very disciplined team against maybe the best team in the world. For 80 minutes the team had a clear shape, structure and mindset. PSG came alive late and turned up the pressure when the team was tired - but they were stymied up to that point. IMHO if this team was Postecoglou coached, they don't have that early lead and maybe are trailing early. The clear gameplan by Frank had this team ready for this game and set up to take advantage early. Again, the moral victory blows, but this showed that Spurs have a plan that didn't exist before.
  4. On the injury front I recommend this site: https://www.premierinjuries.com/teams/tottenham-hotspur Rough dates for players: Udogie - Mid/End Aug Kulusevski - Early/Mid Sept Dragusin - Dec Everyone else is being evaluated or way to far out to know.
  5. The preseason is over. Game on Wayne.
  6. This. If that wasn’t evident by today’s game, I don’t know what would prove it to Levy.
  7. Well everyone expected Spurs to get steamrolled. They didn’t just hang in there, they dictated much of the game. Yes it got away, like you all have said, a team like PSG isn’t going to rollover. They came storming back. Had they played the first 80 minutes like the last 10+, this game is like 6-0. Bur moral victories still suck. To let this one slip away … FFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK!!!!
  8. Man this is gonna slip away. Back to back misses.
  9. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKK
  10. Ugh, gonna be a tense final 5'+
  11. 10 minutes to play. Time for the defensive structure to show off the goods.
  12. Well 70' down, PSG is starting to wake up. The defensive structure has been not bad, it's going to be to be strong to maintain this lead. I think it's time for some subs.
  13. This team looks far more dangerous on set pieces than they have in years.
  14. 10 minutes passed in the 2nd half and Spurs are rolling. PSG still looks out of sorts and Spurs are taking advantage. That Romero goal was so good. A two goal cushion is just what this team needed. Tack on 1 more and we know how that goes.
  15. Now let's get a touch of a look at that challenge in the box against Porro. That looks ok, no problem there.
  16. Because they mentioned it ...
  17. Halftime. And I cannot complain. Hope they go out and get one more quick.
