  1. Wait, he has Alzheimer's? I just assumed he's a drunk.
  2. Well, at least he's got a four run lead to work with:
  3. I've only been to the Katy location, but Roegels is fine. It's definitely second tier, but the pork belly is good. I don't think you'll need to get there early.
  4. So I've narrowed it down to either the Sunset Roper or Majestic Roper from Lucchese. I think I like the color and leather better on the Tan Sunsets, but the Tobacco Majestics are nice too, and the dark brown may be more versatile I suppose. The heel, shaft, and toe are the same on both. Sunsets: Majestics:
  5. The Barista Express was pretty easy to get basically dialed in. After about 6 or 7 pulls, I was consistently getting 18g of espresso from the grinder and pulling double shots in about 27-28 seconds. I will continue to fine tune it a bit, but I am happy with the results so far. My wife prefers iced lattes and I just add a splash of half and half to my shots, so I haven't tried to texture milk with the wand yet. I'll probably try to make breves and cortados at some point.
  6. There's about a $150 difference between the Tecovas I am interested in and a similar style from Lucchese. I'm pretty sure I am going to convince myself to get the Luccheses, particularly because I can go to a brick and mortar store and make sure I get the right fit without the hassle of dealing with the return process.
  7. I looked at that one too, but there were a few reviews that mentioned the machine not heating the water enough. Sounds like you haven't had that issue.
  8. I bought my wife a Breville Barista Express for her first mother's day. We typically drink pour overs or French presses at home, but she loves ordering flat whites at our favorite coffee shop. I'm sure the learning curve will be steep at first, but I am looking forward to experimenting and getting our pulls dialed in.
  9. Missed this yesterday. I would love to see AJ back. Dusty has a one year deal. AJ's contract runs through 2023. So the timing isn't clean, but I can still hope.
  10. I'll be nervous about it if we don't see an uptick soon. He's not going to overpower hitters with that velo, and his command has been lacking. Small sample size and all that, but he has a 1.5 WHIP and a 5.4 BB/9 so far this season. I'd be fine with Montero getting the save opportunities until Pressly returns to form.
  11. It's up from where it was before he went on the IL, but still a full 1-2 MPH from where it was last season. So maybe trending in the right direction?
  12. I saw something the day he pitched that said he was hitting 93 MPH. I can't remember if I posted it up thread.
