  1. OL just stood up. They didnt even fire off the ball there
  2. 6 weeks in and I still can’t fathom how bad our OL is.
  3. I loved the "move back, you suck" chant. I also thought seeing all of the horns down was hilarious.
  4. Tailgate was a great time, the 10 people after the game trying to kill 200 beers was depressing. Gator fans were fine before the game and largely fine after.
  5. This is loser shit
  6. We’re giving them so much cushion
  7. Is he at UF-Shands Hospital? Would he be the type to find the irony funny in a UF doctor taking care of him?
  8. Jacksonville is a pretty big medical hub. Plenty of good hospitals to make sure he gets the right care. Hopefully, he's back on his feet soon
  9. I'm usually there once a year for a game and I have never experienced that. I didn't go to school there though, so it's possible there are places to park that I have totally missed. As a matter of fact ask your coworker where so I can avoid the mess of finding a spot lol
  10. It depends on where your airbnb is located, but the drive to and from Gainesville isn't bad. It's almost entirely done via back roads. Police will be everywhere and they are the small-town variety who make their living ticketing people. If you have someone picked out to be the sober driver it's not awful. There are really only two ways to get there. You take i-10 to 301 south and then get on SR-24 to Gainesville. The other option is to take State Road 16 to 301. I second a car service if you can swing it.
  11. I was just about to ask where the location was - solid spot. Parking is nonexistent. I wouldn't even try to find parking near campus. Uber, rather than trying to drive and find a place to park.
  12. Jesus fucking Christ. Whittington and Worthy were largely developed by Marrion. Are you really this dense? I didn't think I needed to call out every little caveat here. Making plays now and again does not equate to consistent development. Moore largely made plays against inferior talent. Wingo last year was good for 1 play a game and then disappeared
  13. Those receivers were all transfers. That's part of my point. The receivers we recruit aren't being developed. I would also argue the development curve at receiver is much less steep than a position like OL. It shouldn't take 2-3 years to see results
  14. Has there been any conversation about WR development since hiring Chris Jackson? I've said a couple of times that our route running looks lazy. I haven't seen much development from our non-transfer receivers.

There is a troll post gaining steam that Billy got an extension. What did happen is Stricklin got his extension which means he’s probably clear to fire him if the continue to perform the way they are
  16. A guy like Worthy is also around 170lbs, so it's certainly possible with the right development and scheme. I suppose someone will be stupid enough to pay that much money for him despite his market value being a bit more questionable. I'm sure there are numerous examples of egos for those involved (player/agent/parent) that won't swallow a smaller offer with a better promise of development.
  17. What's interesting to me is that all the commentary on Ryan Williams is that he hasn't improved. Lazy route running, bad pad height, etc. AJ McCarron went off on him the other day. People are saying he doesn't look any bigger or faster this year either. I guess that goes to the comments up thread about the lack of S&C work. Someone like Williams is likely to be fielding offers from other schools constantly. At what point does he start taking those seriously?
  18. I don't know why you're getting negged here. That was clearly the game plan from both teams. You're willing to accept a penalty here and there and gamble that they won't keep calling it.
  19. Derka i'm not attacking you here, so please don't take it that way. This take from Ryan Clark about the generational talent is pretty fucking stupid though. Recruiting services and every school in the country all agreed that he was the best QB in his class. He had a 1.000 rating for fucks sake. His arm talent is on the same tier as Lawrence, Andrew Luck, etc. Anyone who saw him play all agreed. What we're just going to fucking act like that didn't happen? How is there any evidence that he isn't a generational player? There is absolutely zero evidence that Bryce Underwood is a generational talent. The Michigan QB room was a dumpster fire. You don't pay someone that much to sit the bench. The family said from the beginning that he was going to sit and take his time - there was no rush. If there is a problem with Arch I think it was that his family allowed him just to sit back and learn rather than push him to take the job from Quinn. This response is just as reactionary and stupid as those who hyped him to the moon. The kid sucked ass last weekend and deserves his lumps but he also deserves the benefit of time as the starter and time to learn. You can count on 1 hand the number of QBs in college who make that throw down the sideline in the 4th quarter. Ryan Clark can miss me with this bullshit.
  20. This is the shittiest rage bait attempt I've seen in a long time
  21. Wingo’s route on the interception was awful. Arch threw a poorly times meatball but still. He did arch no favors. Has there been any conversation so far on the new-ish wr coach and his development skills?
  22. lol are you purposely forgetting about the Tyrone Swoopes experience?
  23. Arch hasn’t been great but god, the coaching staff absolutely shit the bed on this offensive game plan. Struggling qb? Let’s make sure all of the passing plays take 10 seconds to develop. Quick easy passes? Fuck that. TE passes? Fuck that. Oh outside zone averaging 6 yards a play? Let’s run it up the middle for no gain.
  24. I have a friend that worked the front desk of a nice hotel in Orlando back when he was in college. McShay was a semi-regular guest at said hotel and would routinely bring in known (to the staff) hookers back to his room.
