  1. Dude looks fast for such a large man Also, why the fuck is Ryan Day blasting Coldplay and Katy Perry? Fucking loser
  2. Found some more footage of him in UNC's 2023 spring game. Not a lot you can really read into here except that he's large, he's very fluid, he's highly athletic, and he didn't always understand football player at that point in time. If Kenny Baker can develop this kid and Kanu into players, we should sign him to a lifetime contract - whatever the cost. On the other hand, it's a spring game, so who knows?
  3. The hype we're going to get going into next season is going to break them (even more, I mean) and if we live up to it, they're gonna go full Guyana Punch/Heaven's Gate
  4. I really liked the stiff arm at about 0:47. That poor DB got sent flying backwards about 5 yards
  5. Inga (Teri Garr) was so hot
  6. I see those dipshits have already picked up and started running with the "Texas paid Kanu $1 million" bullshit. CDC should have Ketch executed
  7. They really have. The context in which the "nerd and the prom queen" remark was made is pretty clear - and he was even nice enough to explain to them again on Twitter. The real reason why they're so upset is because, deep down, it's true and they know it. Even if Hart had meant it "that" context. It's true, they know it's true, and everyone who deals with them knows it's true.
  8. Cotton Hill looking ass motherfucker
  9. $2.1 million minus 40% for attorney's fees comes out to $1,260,000 total or $105,000 per family. That's just... Wow
  10. Good luck, Blue. I hope you fix your fumble woes and we get to see the playoffs version of you in the NFL
  11. God damn. Dude looks wider than he is tall - and he's 6'5"!!!
  12. It's a highlight reel, I'm certainly no scout, and I obviously don't know shit. But his HUDL looks a little stiff at times to me: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18354729/6748f738242cc67520747253 Still, though, if the staff likes him, he's obviously very big and very strong - and I love his work on special teams. So I hope he proves me totally wrong
  13. The best two "highlight" films I could find of him were from HS (hate to link anything from Rivals but it is what it is). Not surprisingly, I couldn't find much from UNC. The second video is almost more of a hype video - but it still has a lot of highlights. In any case, I can see why he had the lofty ranking. He is... LARGE. And fast. If Sark/Baker can maximize Shaw's talent and Shaw and the SC/nutrition staff can keep his weight under control, I think he'll be a very nice addition for us
  14. I will always remember Quinn diving head first into TWO Ohio State linebackers while trying to get a first down. It still blows my mind that people questioned his toughness. I hope he tears it up in the NFL and makes all of his doubters eat shit
  15. A lot of them, for sure - but certainly not all
  16. I've read that the current plan is to line him up all over the place, including RB. A guy that big and strong who can catch like a WR could be a really interesting weapon out of the backfield.
  17. I also remember seeing a lot of Alex January in the first quarter, which was surprising. If they like him enough to play him in that game, maybe that explains why they haven't gone hard after another DT (yet). Bond won't come back but he should. He wasn't the same player after the ankle injury. Before the OU game, he was considered a first rounder. I can't imagine that he still is and one more solid season would really help his draft stock - especially if he's using his speed to get open and catch long passes from Arch. I feel Cam Williams could also really benefit from one more college season. But he's got that first round grade so he pretty much has to go. Would love to get Golden back as well but I can't imagine that happens either.
  18. The one handed catch he made in the 1st quarter was unreal. Would love to have him back next year but I can't see him staying and don't blame him a bit
  19. You're absolutely right - my bad Just in case anyone cares, I got bored and kept digging and he's a distant cousin of Ray Borque. I grew up watching Borque play so I just thought it was an interesting connection
  20. It's been brought up a bunch but I get more impressed with Freeman almost (not NIU) every time I watch ND. That's a pretty telling stat with respect to second half adjustments.
  21. My thought as well. I'm glad ND won, I guess. Freeman is 1000x more likeable. Plus, there's Penn State's other "baggage" which should prevent them from winning anything ever again
